Design
The Latitude 5310 comes with a design that is sleek and modern with a new lighter colour . Latitude 13 5310 measures17.5mm in the front and 19.7mm in the back. It weigh at 1.22 kg. The laptop is built like a tank and should withstand pretty much whatever you throw at it but its not waterproof. One cannot open the lid with single hand. The camera is located just above the display and comes with a hardware shutter and an optional IR face recognition sensor. Instead of venting the hot air out from the sides the Latitude 13 5310 uses a tiny grill on the back to do the same but some of the hot air gets trapped by the bottom part of the lid.

This is not an average notebook. It is a corporate workhorse, with up to 15 hours of battery life during Web browsing and 12 hours of battery life during video playback.
It uses 15W Comet Lake-U processors managing to deliver quite the performance. It can get a bit loud if you’re rendering a video file or compiling code, but otherwise, the working is pretty smooth. It comes with optional Thunderbolt support, LTE connectivity, Wi-Fi 6 support, and holds up to 32GB of DDR4 memory in dual-channel mode.

This laptop has a pretty good keyboard. It is backlit with the keys being properly spaced apart and has good feedback. It does not feature a full keyboard layout so the Numpad is not included in this. The keyboard has smaller than usual keycaps. Thankfully, the keyboard is backlit and has long key travel and clicky feedback. The main disadvantage it has is the close proximity of the “Page Up” and “Page Down” keys to the Arrow keys.
