Oppo A16e has a height of about 16.40cm and a width of about 7.54cm. It has a thin and seamlessly elegant body, which is just 0.785cm thick and is as light as a feather (about 175g). Oppo A16e features a 6.52 inches screen with an impressive screen ratio of  89.27 percent. It has a decent resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels (HD+).It has an impressive refresh rate of 60 Hz which allows a lag-free performance. The smartphone is protected by Corning Glass 3 which prevents scratches and physical damage. It is available in three colors namely Midnight Black, Blue, and White, all of them are lustrous and have a glossy finish.

Oppo A16e houses a processor of MediaTek Helio P22 Octa-core processor, which gives a smooth performance. The  IMG GE8320 GPU enhances the graphics performance and delivers a stimulating experience. It comes in two variants, the first one has 3GB RAM, which features a 32GB ROM, and the second variant has 4GB RAM and boasts 64GB RAM. The dedicated microSD card allows an expandable memory of up to a massive 1TB.In terms of sensors, Oppo A16e is equipped with the latest sensors, which include, Geomagnetic sensor, Light sensor, Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, and Gravity sensor. The smartphone supports Wi-Fi (2.4 GHz, 5 GHz) and Bluetooth v5.0. Apart from that, the 3.5mm audio jack allows you to plug in earphones or headphones as per your suitability. Oppo A16e operates on ColorOS 11.1, which is based on Android 11. Oppo A16e has a 13MP ( f/2.2) rear camera which clicks fairly decent shots. Apart from that, the 5MP (f/2.4) front camera also captures your vibrant self with remarkable ease. Its photographic features include Photo, Video, Night, Expert, Panoramic, and Time-lapse mode. The smartphone allows video recording of 1080P at 30 fps and 720P at 30 fps respectively. Oppo A16e boasts a 4230 mAh massive Li-ion, non-removable battery. It has an optimized night charging mode which protects it from overcharging at night. Once fully charged, the smartphone can allow a battery of almost up to a day.
