Realme phones are known for their strong fibreglass body. The only poor thing about fibreglass is it tends to get scratches very quickly. The distinguishing diamond-cut effect on the back is a remarkable feature of the phone and adds a feather to the gadget’s look. Many people are absolutely in love with the Realme phone body because it shines a lot and the curved surfaces reflect light in all directions. The phone may get slippery and may fall off your hands which is a drawback. The look and design have been made posher than the previous models..

Talking about the display, it has a notched display, and the borders around the niche are slim, which makes them look better. On the backside of the phone, there are two appendages, one is the oval-shaped fingerprint sensor, and the other one is a dual camera. Neither of them protrudes. The fingerprint sensor is poor in performance.

The sim card trays towards the left of the phone are dedicated to a micro sd card and two nano sd cards. Another drawback of the Realme 2 is the small and inconvenient button design which is challenging to operate. Users also complain about the USB port is too thin. The camera of this brand is not up to the mark. Don’t expect high-definition illustrative images from this camera. It has a dual-camera smartphone - one 13 megapixel camera and a 2 megapixel. The former is the primary set up with an f/2.2 configuration, while the latter is the secondary one. The front camera is 8 megapixels and has an 85-degree field view. There is only one LED flash, and that is at the back of the phone.

Realme 2 camera performs fair enough when adequate light is present. The colours stand out perfectly. Hopwber, when used at night, the image quality drops drastically, and you can hardly view the details. The same problem goes with the front camera. It captures poor images when the light is dim. The front camera cannot erect edges perfectly. The phone’s beautification feature is quite disappointing as it creates a horrible washed-out effect and unnecessarily softens the images.

Realme 2 uses the Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 processor. There are multiple variants for the storage. One comes with 32 GB storage and 3 GB RAM, while the other has 64 GB Storage and 4 GB RAM. However, if you want extra storage, you can use a micro SD card.

The 19:9 IPS Display is good enough. The popping colours seem great. The brightness, however, is poor. You cannot expect excellent display performance at this price. There is an HD plus resolution option, but that is for namesake as it performs poorly. With the Realme 2 smartphone, you cannot execute high-end tasks, especially those which involve an intense workload. It is suitable for daily use, browsing through social media, and watching Youtube videos, but you cannot perform games.

Here comes the best part of the phone. Realme 2 comes with a 4230 mAh battery. The phone uses a unique AI-based power optimiser that assesses the person’s use and reallocates each app’s energy. This interface provides more power to the apps frequently while puts the unused apps in an inactive mode. The Snapdragon 450 processor enhances battery life. The battery life is superb, and a fully charged phone runs for a fantastic time of 17 hours 30 minutes.

Even after a hectic use day, it still has 30-40% of the battery left. Time taken to charge the phone completely by a 10 W charger is around 3 hours. This incredible battery life relies a lot on the low res display and dim brightness of the smartphone.
