Realme C11

The Realme C11 is a very smart buy for the budget at which it comes. Having a Mini-drop full screen with an LCD of 6.5 inches, it is at par with leading smartphone brands in looks and style. The phone is available in two unique and subtle colours - Mint Green and Pepper Grey, suitable for all tastes.

It comes with a non-removable battery and a 32 GB internal storage, and a dedicated slot for extended memory in the form of a Micro-USB. The speaker is placed at the lower end of the phone, along with a 3.5mm jack for auxiliary connections. The volume buttons are placed over the Power button on the right edge of the phone. The camera lens is square-shaped as opposed to the ongoing trend of rectangular camera modules.

The phone’s rear side is textured alongside the camera lens throughout its length, which serves as a good grip. The flip side is that with regular usage, the texture’s fine lines become a storehouse for grime and dust.

The Realme C11 has Android 10 as its operating system and runs all Android apps as you may please. On the other hand, simultaneous use of various apps is not easy because it slows down the phone’s functioning. It is observed that sometimes there are hindrances in running through the photos in the Gallery too.

The Helio G35 chipset empowers the phone for a seamless gaming experience. For a high-intensity gaming app, it may face inadequacy with 2GB RAM only. The limited RAM capacity may restrict the smooth gaming experience.

The in-built 5000 mAh powered battery lasts really long and delivers fantastically for a smooth run even with continuous usage of audio, video, camera and gaming in addition to the normal calling functions of the phone. This is a high selling point of the model as it provides a great functional aspect and is ideal for long working or travelling hours.

The phone’s main camera boasts a 13-megapixel resolution, an excellent feature for a phone at this price value. However, the aperture is low at 2.2, resulting in low light. Features such as LED flash, Panorama, Slow motion, Night mode, and Time-lapse are added to the camera, making it highly appealing, but the slow loading often makes instant clicks a challenge for the user.

The quality of the photographs taken are just about average, and the textures are also a little below the expectations. The natural and defined look of a landscape does not come out as clearly through the lens of the C11 camera, but the close focus shots are much better in terms of quality and clarity. The low aperture, as mentioned earlier, disables clear pictures in low light. The Night mode is added to the camera features but to little rescue as the pictures taken in this mode may or may not be clearly visible. A lot depends on the angle of the shot.

Video recording at 1080p is of decent quality and serves the purpose well but only during the daytime. Night videos are unclear and barely visible in the absence of adequate light over the object. Also, the camera’s stability is very average, which does not make a great moving video.
