The Realme C21 comes with a modest set of SoC under its hood to power your daily tasks. The MediaTek Helio G35 powers the Realme C21 and though not ideal for heavy gaming can handle almost all the other tasks with ease. The octa-core Helio G35 on the Realme C21 is paired up with 3 GB of RAM which may sound low but is a bargain at the 8000 INR mark the Realme C21 is selling at in the market.

The G35 SoC as stated earlier is not that efficient in handling AAA games but for the occasional gamers, the Realme C21 shall be more than enough. With a top clock speed of 2.3 GHz, the Realme C21 ensures that even with 3 GB of RAM you get a lag-free experience. The SoC and RAM are paired with a PowerVR GE8320 GPU to handle all the graphics duty and the Realme C21 runs on an Android 10 UI.

The Realme C21 has a 6.5-inch LCD screen that produces crisp color. The screen has a resolution of 720x1600 pixels with an approximate pixel density of about 270 pixels per inch. The IPS LCD panel offers vibrant colors and amazing contrast.

The Realme C21 has an aspect ratio of 20:9 and a body-to-screen ratio of 80.8%. The LCD screen has great viewing angles and is great for watching movies and browsing. Even graphics-intensive games can be run on the Realme C21 without significant lag albeit there may be overheating issues. The screen has a brightness of 400 nits and has options to adjust the tone and colour displayed.

The capacitive touchscreen is sweet while responding to your touches but the only drawback is that you do not get any significant protection like a Corning Gorilla Glass. There is a standard 60 Hz refresh rate you get with the Realme C21.

This is one section you might be a little surprised in considering the 5000mAh battery pack that the Realme C21 offers. The 5000 mAh battery is smaller no doubt compared to competitors but can easily manage to power the Realme C21 throughout the day. Casual social media usage and even a few hours of gaming can be easily managed by the battery.

The makers at Realme decided to go a step further and provided reverse charging capabilities in the Realme C21. The reverse charging capability is a unique feature of the Realme C21 and an unusual one compared to its price tag.

The Realme C21 features a triple camera AI setup with some unique features to give your photos a premium touch. The triple camera setup is formed using a 13 MP main snapper lens along with two 2 MP depth and macro sensor lenses accompanying it. The photography qualities of the back camera setup are average but the Chroma Boost technology offers a boost to the memories you click. You also get HDR view, Panorama view, and Expert view.

The back camera setup also has video capturing qualities of up to 1080p at 30 frames. In a nutshell, the raw pictures captured by the Realme C21 are almost average but with the Chroma Boost technology, this loophole is well handled. At the front, you get a 5MP snapper at the centre of the screen in a belt at the top. The 5MP front camera offers very good picture quality along with good capturing of skin tone.

The Realme C21 has a sturdy build with a Glass front, a plastic back and a frame. Considering its low price tag it is clear that Realme would go with a plastic back but that doesn’t mean that Realme compromised on quality.
