Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro

The design and display of the Xiaomi Note 8 Pro are very different from its previous models. The company preferred to go with the 'Aura Fluid' design that comes in three different colour shades, i.e. Halo White, Shadow Black, and Gamma Green (shown below). It comes with a Gorilla Glass layer on the back and front side of the phone. Note 8 is IP52 rated which makes it both dust and water-resistant. It has a 6.53-inch display similar to Redmi 7, but with a top-notch HDR screen with a 91.4% screen to body ratio. It also comes with a 1.8mm side-bezel and 2.05 mm forehead bezels. The Note 8 Pro has a quad-core GPU processor that offers 800Mhz clock speed.

The glass on the back of the Redmi Note 8 Pro is curved on the sides, giving it a structured, subtle, and premium reflective look. While the overall phone looks good in terms of design and premium quality aspects, it could have been better in terms of camera design. The rear camera of the Note 8 pro juts out of the phone, making it unstable to hold. It doesn't hold still on flat surfaces, making the camera prone to damage.

The Redmi Note 8 Pro has a responsive screen and is legible under direct sunlight. It has Widevine L1 certification that makes it compatible with HD video streaming support on OTT platforms like Amazon Prime and Netflix. It doesn't only support HD video streaming but is also suitable for a high-end gaming experience.

The Redmi Note 8 Pro is the first Xiaomi Smartphone that comes with a 64-megapixel primary sensor camera. The battery life of using the Redmi Note 8 can last up to a full day and more even after continuous use by playing videos, games, and online streaming. The phone can be considered a banger in terms of performance and doesn't show any signs of lag even after continuous app switching

The fingerprint ID is very accurate and takes up very little to authenticate the identity and unlocks very quickly without a lag. The same goes for face recognition and IRIS detection.

Redmi Note 8 seems to have a much better grip on these new unlocking parameters, which can be quite handy from day-to-day usage
