Talking about the design of the phone, Vivo V19 design is clean and classy. The back and front are both covered in glass for a premium feel. The frame of the phone is mostly plastic. The back is protected by Gorilla Glass 6, and happens to be a fingerprint magnet. It is best to use the phone with a case. Vivo V19 is available in two simple colour choices, black and silver, and both colours look great. However, the phone feels bulky and heavy to hold, and the amount of plastic used is very obvious and makes the phone feel a little less premium. The quad-camera setup causes a bit of a bump at the back.

Talking about the cameras, the Vivo V19 features a quad camera setup. The primary camera is a 48MP shooter. There is an 8MP ultrawide camera, along with a 2MP depth camera, and a 2MP macro lens. With this setup the Vivo V19 can click some very impressive shots. In fact, the V range by Vivo focuses mainly on the camera and the predecessor to the Vivo V19, which was the Vivo V17 also had pretty great cameras.

The selfie camera is 32MP and takes great selfies. The camera app has a night mode, portrait mode, dedicated 48-megapixel mode and Jovi Vision mode. The Vivo V19 camera focuses very quickly, thanks to the AI. The macro camera is also great, but the ultrawide camera loses some details. Bokeh mode can be selected in the options and beautification can be turned off. Edge detection is also pretty good on the Vivo V19. Low-light photography isn't great though.

The Vivo V19 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 chip. This chip is older and much less powerful compared to the more recent Snapdragon chips. At this price range, there are several other phones that pack a more powerful processor. The Vivo V19 screen is an AMOLED display that doesn’t disappoint even in outdoor conditions. The screen is 6.44 inches and, therefore, delivers a pleasurable viewing experience. The pictures and colours are crisp and bright, and there are plenty of options to alter the colour temperature. The Vivo V19 performance is also good for gaming due to the large screen, the Snapdragon processor and the good battery. The phone has good graphics due to the Adreno 616 GPU. Also, the  Vivo V19 uses a copper tube for liquid cooling, and this is of great benefit to gamers.

The phone performs quite smoothly and experiences no issues in day to day functioning because of the Snapdragon processor and the high amount of storage. The Vivo V19 comes in two variants – 8GB RAM and 128GB storage, and/or 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. The Vivo V19 operates on Android 10 out of the box. The OS is Funtouch OS and the experience of using it is smooth, and many bugs were fixed in this version of Funtouch.

Coming to the Vivo V19 battery. The battery is 4500mAh and there is a 33W fast charger in the box. This is a great move by the company, which is sure to please people that constantly worry about their phones running out of charge. The phone can easily last a day and a half on a single charge. The phone can charge to 44 per cent in just half an hour! It can charge to 83 per cent in one hour.

At the  Vivo V19 launch, the base variant was priced at INR 27,990, and the higher variant was priced at INR 31,990. This is a very high price considering the competition in the market. The phone can now be bought for a lot less on many online sites. On average, the base variant costs around INR 20,990, and the higher variant costs around INR 24,990. The Vivo V19 price is quite contentious and the cost could have been lower. This is why Vivo V19 competitors with similar specs succeeded, while the Vivo V19 couldn’t quite compete.

Vivo Y19 has a height of 162.15mm and a width of 76.47mm. It is 8.89mm thick and weighs 193.0g. It has a sturdy body and is easy to hold and has a comfortable grip. Vivo Y19 has a massive 16.58cm screen which provides an immersive visual experience. It has a brilliant resolution of 1080 × 2340 pixels (FHD+). It has a capacitive multi-touch LCD screen. Vivo Y19 is available in two colors namely Magnetic Black and Spring White. 

Vivo Y19 operates on the speedy MediaTek Helio P65 processor. It has a RAM of 4GB and supports 128GB ROM. It has a dedicated microSD card slot and allows an expandable memory. It operates on Funtouch OS 9.2 which is based on Android 9. Apart from that Wi-Fi (2.4G+5G), Bluetooth v5.0, USB 2.0, GPS, OTG, and FM are also supported. In terms of sensors, it is equipped with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, an accelerometer, a proximity sensor, and a compass. GPS, Bediou, GLONASS, and Galileo are also supported, in terms of navigation. 

Vivo Y19 is equipped with a 5000mAh massive battery which is quite remarkable. The smartphone is equipped with an efficient 18W dual engine fast charging technology from the 9V2A charger that comes along with the smartphone. Apart from that, the smartphone supports reverse charging as well. 

Vivo Y19 is equipped with a brilliant 16MP (f\2.0) front camera which is well-equipped to bring out the best version of you. The Gender Detection mode and the AI beauty mode come together to capture exhilarating selfies. Apart from that, the smartphone is equipped with a triple camera 16MP+8MP+2MP. Together, it acts as a power pack that clicks awesome and well-lit pictures. The aperture of rear cameras is f/1.78 for the 16MP camera, f/2.2 for the 8MP wide camera, and f/2.4 for the 2MP macro camera. Apart from that, the smartphone offers a rear flash as well. Its photographic features include Lapse, Slow-Motion, AR Stickers, HDR, Portrait Mode, Panorama, AI Posture, Ultra Wide-Angle Camera, Super Macro Mode, and AI Portrait Framing.
