The display of the Poco M4 pro offers a 6.6inch screen. One will get a full HD, IPS LCD screen with 90Hz refresh rate. The touch response is improved and feels very smooth. The phone comes with a grand resolution of 1080 pixels. The protection provided by the Corning Gorillas Glass 3 is surely an extra advantage. You cannot expect the same vibrance and contrast-rich colour like that of an AMOLED screen, yet the colours can be decently accurate depending on the colour settings. Also, the max brightness is 410nits with the manual slider that can be boosted to 510nits in auto mode during bright conditions.

The Poco M4 pro is equipped with a 5000mAh battery which should be able to provide a good amount of endurance. It allows an average usage of approximately 7-8 hours. The thermals are handled pretty well as well and do not get overheated. The charging rate has been upgraded from 18watts to 33watts and is a lot faster with the bundled adapter. It charges from 0% to 54% within half an hour.

The smartphone features a dual camera set up consisting of a 50megapixels quad Bayer primary camera, and an 8megapixels ultra-wide camera on the rear side along with a LED flash. This dual combination is more useful to have than a depth sensor and macro combo of its previous model. It also has a 16megapixels camera on the front for selfies. The pictures clicked using the phone’s camera are detailed and offer true to life colours. It produces nice portrait shots with subject separation being on point. Storing these pictures and videos will not be a big deal as the Poco m4 pro comes with expandable storage options on top of the already present 64GB or 128GB onboard.

Available in blue, black and yellow colours, the Poco M4 model feels quite better with it’s matte sandstone finish as opposed to the cheap-feeling M3 model. The smartphone has a sleek curved design, which is a prominent design in Xiomi and Poco. The model has a plastic build but it is sturdy and lends a premium feel. One cannot ignore the huge camera layout that covers 30% of the phone’s back. It is definitely an over-the-top design and would have looked better without the rectangular panel. At a glance it might look as if the Poco has four cameras to it, but well, two of them are random circles that just mimic the camera lens.
