Instead of going with a trademark processor, Samsung decided to go with its own SoC (System on Chips). The Exynos 9611 SoC that we saw in the entry-level smartphones of Samsung is the one that powers the Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite. The processor is good for the casual users of the tab but for heavy users and gamers, you might want to look at other options and that too from the same line. AAA games take a lot of time to load and have visible stuttering while operating. The chipset is weak, to say the least, and there is a lag in every touch and swipe gesture. Scrolling can also be frustrating when done on a very long page. The Exynos 9611 SoC is paired with 4 GB of RAM that does little to alleviate the slow performance of the SoC. There is 64 GB of internal storage available which can be expanded.

The rear camera setup is an 8 MP primary snapper without any accompanying sensors. Not many users choose to take photos with their tabs and you might want to keep it that way with the Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite. The photos are dull and look dim but not too distorted. Given its price tag, it would be nice to get a dual-camera setup but clearly, this tab is not designed for photography. The front camera is a 5 MP snapper that is good for a few occasional selfies. Video calls are efficient and video quality is not too bad. You can edit the backgrounds of the photos you click with the Live Focus mode; AR Doodle allows you to draw doodles on live photos with the S Pen and also standard beauty and filter.

A hardy look; the Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite has a metal frame with a glass front and a metal back. It can probably survive a few accidental drops, though you may not want to test that given the price tag. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite is on the heavier side weighing in at 476g. It is ideal for use with two hands and one-handed use is a show of one-handed strength. The bezels are surprisingly very thin and the thinnest when compared to other tabs in their price range. This means the tab is easy to hold onto and use.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite comes with an inbox S Pen. At its price tag, it is the cheapest tab to have an inbox S Pen. The S Pen has many explorable features that give you the premium feel, though it misses out on a couple of features like Bluetooth Connectivity. The S Pen also supports text recognition.
