Though the UI is a touch cluttered, the Infinix Note 11s runs on XOS 10 which is based on Android 11 and will be updated to Android 12 very soon. If one likes custom UI, one will also like XOS because it contains all of the functionality that most other custom UI have.
Summary
The Infinix Note 11S appears to be a well-made and elegant smartphone at first sight. With a single colour, a gradient, a shimmering finish, and matching side rails, the company has kept it simple. It's smudge-resistant because of the matte coating on the rear panel, which is a plus in my book. The edges of the back panel are gently bent, making it more ergonomic. On the other hand, the Infinix Note 11S is somewhat tall, making it difficult to use with one hand and necessitating some finger acrobatics to reach the display's upper corners. The smartphone isn't exactly light, though, weighing in at 212.5 grams.
Infinix has borrowed a page from Vivo's design book when it comes to the camera module on the rear panel, opting for an industrial-looking rectangular camera island that juts out noticeably. Infinix has also imitated Vivo's camera layout, with a big primary camera on top and three additional camera cutouts and an LED flash grouped in a neat 22 grid below. However, if you look closely, you'll notice that the circular band surrounding the cameras is too thick, and one of the camera holes is missing a lens.
Summary
The phone features a 5,000 mAh battery and supports 33W rapid charging. The smartphone will survive for around a day and a half, depending on how you use it. Users will need to charge the gadget twice if they play games for five to six hours, but if one is a casual user, the device can survive for more than a day.
Summary
The camera interface is quite basic, with the preview, shutter, Google Lens, and camera toggle placed in that order at the bottom. The settings, flash, HDR, 50MP mode, aspect ratio, and live filters are all found on the top. Short video, video, AI Cam, Beauty, Portrait, and Super Nights modes are all available in the viewfinder Rolodex. Other modes, such as AR Shot, slow motion, Pro, Panorama, Documents, and Time-Lapse, may be accessed by swiping up from the bottom of the viewfinder.
As you can see in the gallery above, the 50-megapixel main camera failed to impress since the photographs lacked detail and the colours were mostly washed out. The colour saturation, on the other hand, varies depending on the lighting circumstances.
Summary
With its huge 6.95-inch IPS LCD display and FHD+ screen resolution, the Infinix Note 11S is a borderline phablet. Because of the 120Hz refresh rate, Infinix calls it an Ultra Fluid display. Because it's an LCD panel, the blacks aren't as deep as they may be, and the saturation is a little subdued. Furthermore, when using the smartphone in direct sunlight, the brightness levels leave a lot to be desired. The WideVine L1 certification for HD OTT streaming is a plus for the Note 11S, which, along with the large screen, is a benefit for multimedia users. Furthermore, the 120Hz refresh rate gives the interface a silky smooth feel.
