Poco is a sub-brand of Xiaomi, but Xiaomi has turned it into its own brand just before the Poco X2 launch. This is probably due to the phenomenal success of the POCO F1. The Poco X2 is not, however, an upgraded version of the Poco F1. It is its own phone and has many great features and advantages.
POCO X2 have a screen size of 6.67 inches and weighing approximately 208 g . This mobile runs on Android 10 and has a decent resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. It has dimension 165.3 mm X 76.6 mm X 8.79 mm .

The look of the Poco X2 is unique and bright. The gorgeous phone isn’t just made of plastic like many phones in the market. The glass back has a gradient tone to it. The back camera strip has a circular dip around it, and this makes the Poco X2 design recognisable and adds uniqueness. The back, though glass, isn’t very slippery, and this is a huge advantage. The selfie cameras are housed in a notch at the top right hand of the screen, which can take a little getting used to. Gorilla Glass 5 protects both the front and back of the phone, ensuring safety.
Summary
The Poco X2 has a whopping 4 rear camera setup and two selfie cameras. The primary rear camera is 64MP and uses the Sony IMX686 sensor. There is an ultra-wide camera of 8MP. There is also a macro camera of 2MP. The final one is a depth sensor of 2MP. Coming to the front cameras, the primary camera has a 20MP sensor, and the secondary camera is a 2MP depth sensor. Poco’s camera app is a little different and takes some time to get used to. Another con is that the Poco watermark is set by default and cannot be turned off.
The photos produced by Poco X2 cameras in good lighting conditions are absolutely fantastic. However, in compromised lighting conditions or even in shadowy situations, there is some grain and loss of details. Sometimes there is some problem focusing, and stepping back from the object helps a bit. The wide-angle camera takes poor quality shots compared to the main camera. Also, the night mode is okay but not great. The front camera produces good photos, but they look slightly artificial. The default beautification options can be disabled, but you will have to waste some time finding the options. Video recording is good, but there is no option for 4k.
Summary
The Poco X2 comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G. This chip is extremely powerful and specially designed for gamers. The large 6.67-inch screen is great for viewing content or playing games. The phone has a 120Hz refresh rate which makes it feel snappy and very smooth. Poco has termed this ‘Reality Flow’, and there is a reason for it. Many games do not support this feature yet, but the ones that do benefit greatly from this high refresh rate.
The UI is similar to the Redmi K20 and K20 Pro, which are much more highly-priced than the Poco. The UI is a blend of MIUI 11 and Poco Launcher. There are a few issues with the UI, such as bloatware and a high number of ads. There are a lot of customisation options, and you can always make your phone feel like your own. The App Drawer is a new feature that Xiaomi fans absolutely love.
Summary
The battery is 4500mAh and charges with a 27W fast charger that comes in the box. This is one of the bulkiest chargers supplied in a box, and it’s a huge advantage. The large battery combined with fast charging means you will never worry about whether your phone has enough charge. The phone can easily go through a day with constant usage. The screen is massive, and this does affect the Poco X2 battery life a little bit.
