The phone is equipped with 6.5 inches &ldquo;3D borderless sense screen &rdquo; with curved edges. The Full HD+ AMOLED display has a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels with a pixel density of 402PPI. Reno 5 Pro 5G display gets brownie points for being HDR10+ Certified. This makes the viewing experience pleasant with vivid and lifelike colours and better contrast. The punch-hole camera is placed on the top left and is so minuscule that it does not distract. Further, with dark mode support and eye protection mode, the phone also gives gamer mode, which temporarily freezes all notifications so that the user can get an undisturbed gaming experience.&nbsp;

With the customisable &ldquo;Always on Display&rdquo; option the user can customise a theme, screensavers, alter font size and style, and much more. The phone is a great deal for multi-taskers as its &ldquo;Flex Drop&rdquo; allows you to resize the app into a mini floating window so that you can monitor it while using other apps.&nbsp;

Generally, slim smartphones have short battery life but that&rsquo;s not the case with Reno 5 Pro battery. It comes with a 4350mAh battery that can last a day after a single charge. However, when on stand-by, we noticed a fair bit more drainage than normal.

The phone comes with super power-saving mode, which as promised by the company, allows the user to have 1.5 hours of Whatsapp even with a 5% charge remaining.&nbsp;But what&rsquo;s more impressive is the 65W charging support which can completely charge the phone in around 60 minutes.

Reno 5 Pro is rightly called the videography expert. The Reno 5 Pro cameras are its main highlight and are sufficient for vlogs or cinematic shots. The device comes with a 64MP main camera, 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera, 2MP macro camera, and 2MP mono camera. Under bright lighting, the 32MP selfie camera captures every minute detail of your face, and the skin tone is also pretty much accurate. Portrait selfies are also up to the mark with decent background separation.

Oppo has leveraged the potential of Artificial Intelligence and software to improve its pictures and videos. Using its AI Highlight Video feature, videos recorded in dim light automatically get brightened up, however, the quality of the picture may appear to be over-processed.

Next, the AI Color Portrait mode maintains the original colour of the subject and body while turning the background into black and white. There&rsquo;s also the Monochrome video, where the user can record video by highlighting only the red, green and blue colors and the rest turn into black and white.

With the Ultra Steady video feature, one can shoot extremely stable videos; ideal for vloggers and travellers. Details and colours are preserved even while recording at night with the Ultra Night Video feature. As for the Image &ndash; Clear Engine feature, it&rsquo;s a great tool to capture moving objects. The feature reduces the blur that occurs when the subject moves and produces sharp photos.

The most distinctive feature of the model is Dual&ndash;View video, which captures scenes with the rear and front camera simultaneously thereby producing two perspectives within the same frame in videos.&nbsp;

Yet another highlight of the Reno 5 Pro is the new MediaTek 7nm-class Dimensity 1000+ chipset, making it 5G-enabled. It is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 alternative and Reno 5 Pro is the first model to have it in India. The chipset features four ARM Cortex-A77 cores and four ARM Cortex-A55 cores which provide top-notch graphics to the phone. The model also supports WiFi 6 connectivity, allowing stronger connection stability and faster speed.&nbsp;

Reno 5 Pro is the first phone in the Reno series to get Android 11 based ColorOS 11.1. It provides rich user interface customisation and greater efficiency. Users can also enjoy faster processing and more storage with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of ROM so the lack of a micro-SD card slot is not bothersome.&nbsp;

Thanks to the internals, the overall performance is top-notch without a single hiccup or stutter. Gaming can also be done smoothly with high graphics but the device gets warmed up a bit after prolonged usage. But this does not interfere with the gaming experience and hence is not bothersome.&nbsp;

The premium-looking Reno 5 Pro has the same design as its predecessor Reno 4. But it never fails to give an amazing in-hand experience with its ultra-slim body and unique design. Its 7.6mm body which weighs around 173g is both pleasing to look at and comfortable to hold with good grip.

The back has a shining effect and is made up of glass with a matte finish. Reno 5 Pro gets brownie points for having a fingerprint-proof back. The model is available in two elegant colour options- Astral Blue and Starry Black.

The top side has &ldquo;Designed for Oppo&rdquo; inscribed on it while the bottom has a dual-SIM tray, a USB Type-C port, and a mono speaker grille. The left side has the volume rockers and the power button is placed on the right side. The top left corner of the back has the classy camera setup where we can also find a little raised portion below the camera called the O-Dot. This O-Dot prevents the rear cameras from coming in direct contact with the surface they are resting on.

Unlike Reno 4, this model has no headphone jack. And to add to that, it would be nice to have a dedicated SD card slot rather than just a dual-SIM tray.

Pleasant design but Headphone Jack is not available.

The model is 5G Ready even before 5G Connectivity is available in India.

The handset has an amazing in-hand look with super slim bezels and a thickness of 7.6mm.
