Will it get android 12

We recently learned that the Motorola Moto E40 smartphone will not be receiving the Android 12 update. This news has come as a disappointment to many Motorola fans, as the Moto E40 was only released in late 2021. Thankfully, the Moto E40 is still a great phone in its own right and will continue to be supported by Motorola with security updates.
