The Realme 3 comes with their new Unibody design for the back, and has a vibrant colour design. The phone comes in four shades, Dynamic black, Radiant Blue, Classic Black, and Diamond red. Even though they are not offering a glass panel, they have still produced a fine piece of art and have a simply great finish. The plastic has also aided them in weight reduction, and the phone comes in at just 175g, making it light. Moreover, the curved back ensures that the phone feels good on the hand when held. However, the glossy back does make it hard to keep the phone clean, and is a fingerprint magnet.
The screen is protected with the best of Corning Gorilla Glass, making it tougher and scratch-resistant. They have also employed the feature of waterdrop notch and offer a solid screen-to-body ratio of 88.3%. The speakers do a good lot of work too. The Realme 3 comes with a 6.3 inch screen, along with a 720x1520-pixel HD+ resolution and 271 PPI pixel density. Compared to the Competitor Redmi, it has managed to offer an HD display at a much cheaper price.
Summary
The incorporation of high-quality cameras in smartphones had been the major revolutionising factor that swept digital cameras from the market. Now, this is one of the crucial features that buyers keenly look for before making buying decisions.
The Realme 3 comes with a 13MP+2MP rear dual camera, and a 13MP front camera. The rear camera does provide the required clarity, and captures the best of colours when taken under sufficient light. There are a few dull images at times, and the inbuilt AI does make some change in such situations. Realme has also introduced two new features, along with portrait and panorama mode. The new nightscape mode attempts to improve the low light photos using multi-frame exposures. Chroma boost is the other added feature, and it provides an uplift in the colour element and brings about an auto-balance in light.
The portrait mode is available for both the front and rear cameras. When taking selfies, the images taken in bright conditions are attractive. Whereas the pictures taken in a comparatively darker setup could be better. However, the AI does offer some uplift to those images. The videos can be recorded at 1080p with 30fps. There is also a slow-motion feature, where videos can be recorded at 720p with 90 fps.
