The Realme C25 comes with a slightly above average set of SoC under its hood to power your daily tasks. The MediaTek Helio G70 powers the Realme C25 and though is designed for heavy gaming but underperforms. It can handle almost all the other tasks with ease. The octa-core Helio G70 on the Realme C25 is paired up with 4 GB or 6 GB of RAM which does little to increase the processing speed, though apps open quickly and there is no visible stuttering. The G70 SoC as stated earlier is not that efficient in handling AAA games but for the occasional gamers, the Realme C25 shall be more than enough. With a top clock speed of 2.2 GHz, the Realme C25 ensures that you get a lag-free experience. The SoC and RAM are paired with a MalMali-G52 2EEMC2 GPU to handle all the graphics duty and the Realme C25 runs on an Android 11 UI.

Summary
The Realme C25 has a 6.5-inch HD+ LCD screen that is suitable given its price tag. The screen has a resolution of 720x1600 pixels with an approximate pixel density of about 270 pixels per inch. The IPS LCD panel offers mostly good looking colours with decent contrast. The Realme C21 has an aspect ratio of 20:9 and a body-to-screen ratio of 80.8%. The LCD screen has great viewing angles and is great for watching movies and browsing but there is a huge drawback. The Realme C25 does not have a WideVine L1 certification which means all the video content on OTT platforms can only be viewed at standard definition quality. The screen has a brightness of 400 nits but the bezels are very thick and a little annoying. The capacitive touchscreen is sweet while responding to your touches but the only drawback is that you do not get any significant protection like a Corning Gorilla Glass. There is a standard 60 Hz refresh rate you get with the Realme C25. Realme also argues that the absence of WideVine L1 certification is made up by the TUV Rheinland certification which means that the screen emits less blue light.
Summary
This is one section where Realme has done a good job considering the 6000mAh battery pack that the Realme C25 offers. The 6000 mAh battery is huge compared to competitors and can easily manage to power the Realme C25 throughout the day. Casual social media usage and even a few hours of gaming can be easily managed by the battery. The only drawback is that the huge battery increases the weight of the Realme C25 and also the width significantly. The makers at Realme decided to go a step further and provided 18W fast charging capabilities in the Realme C25. The fast charging capability is a unique feature of the Realme C25 and an unusual one compared to its price tag.
Summary
The Realme C25 features a triple camera AI setup with some good quality but given that it is a budget phone, the pictures are budget centric too. The triple camera setup is formed using a 13 MP main snapper lens along with two 2 MP depth and macro sensor lenses accompanying it. The photography qualities of the back camera setup are average and the two macro lenses serve little purpose to enhance the picture quality. Given a fair amount of light, the pictures have decent color quality and soft focus with good saturation levels. The camera setup does not have an ultra wide lens but even with the lens, photo quality is not very exceptional. Night picture quality is very poor and even though there is a dedicated night mode, not much can be said in its praise.
At the front, you get a 8MP snapper at the center of the screen in a belt at the top. The 8 MP camera offers photos that are budget centric like the phone itself and not something to show off. The pictures are over sharpened and the exposure is a lot if taken against the light.
Summary
The Realme C25 has a very budget centric build with a plastic unibody that is prone to scratches and has nothing unique. Considering its budget centric design, the design is at par but the huge battery adds to the phone’s weight and is felt in hand. The Realme C25 has gone through stringent measures to get the TUV Rheinland Smartphone High Credibility Certification. This means your Realme C25 will stay by your side for a long time but considering its budgety features, you may need to replace it with a better deal once you get one.
