The Realme C35 is easily one of the good-looking budget Android phones that you can buy in India. The handset flaunts the latest Dynamic Glow design where the back panel has a shimmering surface with a sunray reflective pattern. But what makes the design stand out from the crowd is the flat-edged design. This we hardly have seen on any recent affordable Android phone retailing under Rs. 12,000 price bracket. The handset still features a waterdrop notch display instead of a punch-hole camera cutout.

The Realme C35 is an entry-level phone which is driven by the Unisoc T616 chipset. It is an octa-core Unisoc chipset that is manufactured using a 12nm fabrication processor. The chipset has a clock speed of 2.0Ghz and is paired with Mali G57 GPU that can render graphics smoothly. The Realme C35 can be used as a daily driver as it can handle all the general tasks with ease. The chipset is clubbed with 4GB and 6GB LPDDR4X RAM. With this RAM capacity, the Realme C35 can handle multitasking easily. Also, the onboard storage capacity you can select from is dual – 64GB and 128GB. The expandable storage capacity using a microSD card is massive (up to 1TB). You will get decent feedback with gaming. Since this is a budget phone, expecting to render graphic-hungry games smoothly without any heating issues wouldn’t be wise. The device will ship with Android 11-OS based Realme UI interface. We would have preferred the latest Android version (Android 12). This is one of the drawbacks of the latest Realme budget phone.

The Realme C35 defines this well with its tall 6.6-inch display. The IPS LCD supports 1080 x 2408 pixels FHD+ screen resolution which surely would enhance your movie or TV show watching experience. The peak brightness levels of 600 nits allow for decent sunlight visibility. The Realme C35’s panel has a 90.7 percent screen-to-body ratio and a 90Hz refresh rate. A higher screen refresh rate will enhance the touch feedback and also the experience with gaming visuals. 

Over the years, Realme has majorly improved the C series hardware including the camera. The Realme C35 fits as a good example with its 50MP triple rear camera module. The main 50MP camera comes with an f/1.8 aperture and is a 5P lens that can capture ample details with each click. The primary sensor is supported by a 2MP macro sensor and a 2MP depth lens both of which have an f/2.4 aperture. These additional sensors combined along with different shooting modes such as Burst, Pro, Panorama, Portrait, and HDR help with enhanced imaging. The camera also has a built-in Night Pro mode for low-light photography. It can record 1080@30fps, 720@30fps, and 480@30fps videos. The front snapper is an 8MP lens that will be used for selfies and video calling. The Realme C35’s front camera is also a 5P lens with an f/2.0 aperture that can shoot time-lapse videos and also has HDR mode for better color production. The C35’s selfie camera is capable of recording 720p@30fps and 480@30fps videos.

The Realme C35 doesn’t disappoint in the battery segment as well. The budget phone employs a big 5,000 mAh battery that has a rated capacity of 4,890 mAh. This large-sized battery stores enough fuel to run the device throughout the day. You can watch random videos on social media or OTT platforms and also can play games occasionally without thinking twice of a re-plug. The Realme C35 battery backup is one of the highlights which is complemented by an 18W fast charging support. This comes in handy when you have extensively used your device or are running out of battery and require a quick refuel in emergencies.
