Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Pro

The 6.3-inch LCD display is the most attractive feature of the Redmi Note 7 Pro. It has got a modern water drop, dewdrop, or teardrop notch which helps the phone achieve a high screen-to-body ratio.

The selfie camera is hidden behind the notch, with an earpiece slit visible above it. The phone has a chin on the rim, with a notification LED concealed behind it. For a Xiaomi phone, the port placement is normal, and there's even an IR blaster at the end.

A USB Type-C port can be found at the bottom of the handset, and it's worth mentioning that this is the first time this has appeared on a Redmi phone. Overall, I feel the Redmi Note 7 Pro screen display is quite good in this price range.

The Redmi Note 7 Pro offers the front and back semi-circular Gorilla Glass 5, and trending gradient patterns. This model is available in black, staid black and red colours. Thanks to its P2i coating, the device is also splash-resistant.

The Redmi Note 7 Pro ticks most boxes with respect to look and feel. It cannot be termed light or sleek, perhaps because of its glass body.

When you look at the back, you'll notice a protruding camera module on the top right, which houses two cameras. The scanner works great, but since the device also has facial unlock, it's usually more convenient to only use that to obtain phone access.
The display is as good as it comes in this section, and while it can't quite match the brilliance of an AMOLED, it does provide crisp and vibrant graphics, good viewing angles, and enough brightness for outdoor viewing.

Overall, the Redmi Note 7 Pro camera performs admirably in a wide range of shooting conditions. The pictures are bright and crisp, with a wide dynamic range. There is an AI model, which detects and optimises settings based on the scene you're filming. There's a dedicated Night mode that works well, capturing functional images in dimly-lit environments without creating too much noise, though the colours can be a little muted at times.

Edge detection in portrait photos is very good, especially in good illumination and can be used to create a cool and creative look for various effects that can be applied during shooting or later. The 13MP front camera isn't bad either, and I am quite happy with the selfies I get with the Note 7 Pro for the most part. Overall, the cameras are one of the best takeaways among Redmi Note 7 Pro specifications.

The Redmi Note 7 Pro is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 675 processor, which is combined with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage on our review device. The superior model has RAM of 6GB and a storage capacity of 128GB. The SD 675 octa-core is a new chipset that first appeared on a far more costly Vivo V15 Pro device. 

Overall, the Redmi Note 7 Pro's output is smooth, and even PUBG runs smoothly on high graphics settings without stuttering. While navigating the menus and multitasking, there is some stuttering noticeable, and it seems Xiaomi needs to tweak the programme a little to ensure a better user experience.

The 4,000 mAh Redmi Note 7 Pro battery lasts a long time during normal use, so there are no problems there. After a full day of work, there is typically 30-35 percent battery left on the phone, using a Wi-Fi hotspot, streaming songs, an hour or so of Netflix, e-mail and a full day of messages with some gaming being thrown in. The phone lasts more than 17 hours with a full charge.

Fast Charge 4.0 is supported by the phone, but the adaptor does not. Using the included adapter, you'll need a little more than 2 hours to completely charge the handset.
