The Vivo V21 has a very sleek design which makes its in-hand feel amazing. It comes in three colour options- Arctic White, Dusk Blue and Sunset Dazzle. It has a matte finished glass back panel which looks stunning and also doesn't collect any fingerprints. The display and back both are protected by SCHOTT Xensation. It has volume rocker keys and a power button on the right side, a secondary microphone on the top and a hybrid sim-tray, type C charger port and speaker grille at the bottom. The dewdrop selfie camera is given on the display. Side bezels are pretty small and the chin bezel is of average size. Overall, this design has a premium look to offer. Moving on to the display, it has an FHD+ AMOLED one to offer which has a large size of 6.44 inches. The screen can reach up to 800 nits peak brightness and also has HDR10+ support. The screen has a 90Hz refresh rate which makes it very responsive. However, there is an option of Smart Switch in the settings which you can enable so that it switches between 60Hz and 90Hz automatically and saves battery life.

The Vivo V21 is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 800u processor so that you can finish all your tasks smoothly. The streaming and gaming experience is overall very decent and has no issues. It comes in two variants which are an 8GB RAM model with 128GB storage and an 8GB RAM model with 256GB storage. There is also an option of converting a part of ROM into Virtual RAM in case you need more. It comes based on the Android 11 operating system with Funtouch 11 UI which is very clean and easy to operate. There are some unnecessary apps pre-installed but most of them can be uninstalled.

Vivo has been known for top class cameras, this one is no different. Let’s get the three-camera setup at the back first. There is a 64MP primary camera with an amazing f/1.8 aperture and Optical Image Stabilisation, an 8MP ultrawide shooter and a 2MP camera for capturing macro shots.  Coming on to the biggest highlight of this phone, it has a brilliant 44MP selfie camera with Optical Image Stabilisation, offered for the first time on any smartphone. And two flashlights are hidden in the top bezel allowing you to capture really good quality shots even in low light. You can record videos in 4K/30fps with both front and rear cameras. A 4000mAh battery has been offered in the Vivo V21 which is decent but could have been better. Although it can last throughout the day with regular usage, if you are a heavy user then you may find this to become an issue. However, to sort things out Vivo has offered a 33W fast charger in the box which can charge your phone up to 63% in a short span of 30 minutes. So feel free to stream your favourite stuff and have all the fun without worrying about the battery life.

Along with the fast responsive in-display fingerprint sensor and face unlock feature, the phone has all the required sensors. It is a dual-SIM 5G phone with connectivity options such as Wi-Fi, Bluetoothv5.1 and GPS included.
