The Coanda effect, which enables users to curl, wave, smooth, and dry hair without the need for severe heat, is at the core of the Airwrap story. This effect is powered by a rapid, high-pressure motor. When air is driven at the proper speed and pressure, it naturally follows an adjacent surface, entraining the surrounding air and its accompanying hair in the Coanda phenomenon.
The Dyson Airwrap multi-styler reduces the need for intense heat and protects the hair from unnecessary damage by providing wet to dry styling using powerful and accurate airflow on damp (80 percent dry) hair.
An all-new dual-purpose Coanda smoothing dryer and redesigned brush attachments enable precision shaping with improved Coanda performance. The Coanda smoothing dryer, which combines two attachments into one, conceals flyaways in a single pass without using severe heat and switches from a strong drier to a smoothing dryer with the flip of a switch.
