iQOO recently launched the all-new iQOO Z3 5G smartphone in the Indian market. The new iQOO Z3 5G is the most affordable smartphone from the house of Vivo-owned iQOO in India. iQOO Z3 5G – Pros and Cons
PROS
Great Performance – The new iQOO Z3 5G is powered by the Snapdragon 768G chipset and it is India’s first smartphone to get this chipset. This octa-core processor comes coupled with the Adreno 620 GPU and it offers very good performance. This SoC is built on a 7 Nm architecture and supports 5G networks.
Good Cameras – The iQOO Z3 5G sports a triple camera set-up at the rear. The primary camera is a 64 MP unit and it gets an 8 MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2MP depth sensor. At the front, it gets a 16 MP camera for selfies and videos. The camera performance of the iQOO Z3 5G is satisafactory.
Battery and Charging – The new iQOO Z3 5G packs a massive 4400mAh battery with a superfast 55W charging support and the fast charger is bundled inside the box. iQOO claims that the new iQOO Z3 5G can be charged from 0 to 50 per cent in just 19 minutes.
Aggressive Price – The new iQOO Z3 5G has been priced quite aggressively in India. It is available in three variants. They are – 6 GB of RAM with 128 GB of internal storage; priced at Rs 19,990, 8 GB of RAM with 128 GB of internal storage; priced at Rs 20,990 and 8 GB of RAM with 256 GB of internal storage; priced at Rs 22,990.
CONS
Design – The iQOO Z3 5G is a premium mid-range smartphone but its design lacks premium feel and it has old-school accents. The smartphone is made up of plastic with no premium appeal and it has huge bezels bordering the display which don’t look good at all.

Display – The new iQOO Z3 5G features a 6.58-inch display with FHD+ 1080 x 2408 pixels and a 120 Hz refresh rate system. However, the panel isn’t an AMOLED unit which is a negative point at this price point.
Software – The iQOO Z3 5G’s software isn’t good at all. The smartphone gets Android 11-based Funtouch OS 11.1 and it shows a lot of ads in the mobile browser, sends random notifications and isn’t very intuitive.
Brand Value – iQOO is a new brand in India and since it sells its smartphones only online, the company isn’t well-known yet. So, iQOO doesn’t have a good brand value as such and that is also one of its con.
