Motorola is making another attempt with the Moto G Stylus 5G — 2023 version despite its recent struggles with midrange devices. With a healthy 6GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, it will retail for $399 unlocked (carriers will sell a variant with 128GB of storage and either 4 or 6GB of RAM). It also features an updated rear camera system, a 6.6-inch screen, and Qualcomm’s new midrange Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset for performance that is 20% faster than that of the previous model year. Oh, and naturally a stylus.
Moto G Stylus 5G: Specifications
The 5G version of the Moto G Stylus sports a plastic body, a similar design to the G Stylus’ 4G iteration, a rectangular camera bump with large camera housings, and a punch-hole display. It has a 6.6-inch Full HD+ LCD screen and supports a 120Hz refresh rate, which is a feature that many users will like.
The 4G version’s MediaTek Helio G85 SoC is replaced by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset inside. This has been upgraded from the Moto G Stylus 4G’s 4GB+64GB combination to 6GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage.
A 50MP primary camera and an 8MP ultra-wide lens in the camera department perform the functions of a depth and macro camera, respectively, negating the need for additional cameras. A 16MP selfie camera is present. Portrait mode, Night Vision, Dual-Video mode, slow-motion films, up to 8x digital zoom, and many other camera functions are included with the Moto G Stylus 5G.
A 5,000mAh battery that enables 20W rapid charging is already installed. Many people may find this disappointing because companies like Realme, Xiaomi, and others provide far quicker speeds. It utilises Android 13. NFC, a 3.5mm audio connector, two stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, compatibility for a memory card, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth version 5.1, and other features are among the other intriguing features. There are two color options for the Moto G Stylus 5G: Rose Champagne and Cosmic Black.
