After the iQOO Z5, the company is now working on another variant in this series called the iQOO Z5x. The upcoming mid-range will also be 5G enabled like the standard variant and is headed first to the Chinese market. The company has released a few teasers on Weibo confirming an October 20 launch date and also the processor.
iQOO Z5x Launch Date, Expected Price
The iQOO Z5x will be launching on October 20 in China. The company had announced the launch via its official Weibo account. The teaser poster has hinted at the design where the device is seen with a dual-camera setup at the back and an orange colour option.
iQOO has not revealed the official launch date for India and other international markets. The iQOO Z5x’ price details are also at large. However, speculations are this handset will be a toned-down version of the standard iQOO Z5; thus might be priced lower. Also, it could go official by this year-end in India and other regions.
iQOO Z5x: Specifications
As of now, iQOO has only revealed the Z5x processor details. The official teaser poster confirms the Dimensity 900 SoC. This is one major difference this model features compared to the vanilla model. To recap, the iQOO Z5 is launched with the Snapdragon 778G chipset. The 5G connectivity will be present in the new model as well.
The official confirmation has just arrived for the processor. Other features have surfaced via several mobile authentication websites and other sources. The iQOO Z5x is leaked with a 6.58-inch FHD+ display with either a 90 Hz or 120Hz screen refresh rate. The device might come with a 50MP camera at the back along with a 2MP secondary sensor.
We might see a punch-hole design equipped with an 8MP selfie camera. The iQOO Z5x is also expected to launch with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB storage and Android 11 OS. The device could use a 5,000 mAh battery with 44W fast charging.
