WhatsApp Short Video Message Reply Feature: What Is It?
The latest WhatsApp feature is a short video messaging option with which users will be able to send replies in the form of a short video message. This new feature brings the option to record a short video of up to 60 seconds and share it as a reply to the desired contact. One can reply to a plain text message with a short video, unlike the current scenario where one can only respond to text messages in the form of audio notes or text.
Facebook CEO, Mark Zuckerberg took to a Facebook post to reveal the new feature for WhatsApp users. Zuckerberg has also shared a video that shows the procedure with which one can respond to text messages with a short video.

How Can You Reply With A Short Video Message On WhatsApp?
WhatsApp users on both Android and iOS devices will get access to this short video message reply feature. A new video recorder icon will be placed right next to the text box at the bottom. Users can simply tap on the video recorder icon and swipe up to initiate video recording. It is worth adding that short video messages have a certain time limit and one can only record up to 60 seconds of video message.
Step 1: Open WhatsApp mobile app on your Android or iOS devices
Step 2: Open the chat window where you wish to send a short video message as a reply
Step 3: Locate the video recorder icon placed next to the text box at the bottom
Step 4: Tap on the video recorder icon and start recording your video message as a reply
