Lenovo might soon launch a new budget tablet model for the consumers. The brand is gearing up to launch a new version of the Tab M8 (4th Gen) tablet in the coming days. The upcoming launch of the new Lenovo tablet has been confirmed by an official website listing which also details the key upgrades Lenovo has made over the existing model. Lenovo has silently confirmed the arrival of its new-generation Android tablet that will be catering to the budget consumers across the globe. The brand is bringing a new version of its popular budget Android tablet, i.e., the Tab M8 (4th Gen).
The upcoming tablet has been doing rounds online for a while and has also cleared certification via multiple portals including TRDA. The new model moniker could be the Lenovo Tab M8 (4th Gen 2024). While the tablet is listed on official Lenovo website, its exact launch date is yet to be announced. We are expecting Lenovo to launch this new variant in global markets including India.

According to the official listing, Lenovo will stick to the bare bone design as the current-generation Lenovo Tab M8 (4th Gen) model. The tablet will sport a smooth plain rear panel design with a circular camera module housed on the top-left corner. The Tab M8 (4th Gen) 2024 model will be equipped with a compact 8-inch HD display.
The front panel will have considerably thick bezel profile at the top and bottom and will integrate a 2MP selfie camera. The display will support an HD resolution and 60Hz refresh rate. The panel brightness is set at 350 nits. The rear camera setup has a single 8MP lens accompanied by an LED flash for low light photography.
Under the hood, the new-generation Lenovo Tab M8 (4th Gen) tablet will be using the octa-core MediaTek MT6878 chipset which will be combined 3GB/4GB RAM and 32GB/64GB storage space option. This tablet will also include an external microSD card slot for additional storage space. It will boot on Android 13 OS.
Furthermore, the official listing of the Lenovo Tab M8 (4th Gen) 2024 also reveals Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0 wireless networks and a USB Type-C, 3.5mm headphone jack. The battery pack listed on the official website is a 5,100 mAh unit claimed to deliver a backup of around 13 hours.
