Samsung after expanding its flagship tablet lineup with S9 series is now ready to refresh its affordable Galaxy Tab A series. This time, the South Korean tech giant is set to introduce the Galaxy Tab A tablet in the market. Multiple sightings of the Galaxy Tab A9 tablet variants have appeared online and a fresh listing on the benchmark website of the vanilla model has detailed the key specs.

The Samsug Galaxy Tab A9 has been leaked on Geekbench with the SM-X115 model number. The fresh sighting of the vanilla Galaxy Tab A9 model at the benchmark platform is a clear indication the tablet is in the final testing phase and could debut sometime soon. Additionally, the listing has revealed the key specifications of the upcoming budget Galaxy tablet.
As per Geekbench certification listing, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A9 tablet will be powered by an octa-core processor featuring hexa cores with 2.0Ghz clock speed and two cores with 2.20GHz clock speed. The Geekbench listing of the Galaxy Tab A9 doesn’t reveal the chipset name. However, the CPU architecture along with the previous leaks suggests this processor os indeed the MediaTek Helio G99 mid-range gaming processor.
The vanilla Galaxy Tab A9’s chipset will get Mali-G57 MC2 GPU for graphics delivery. It will feature 4GB RAM for multitasking as per the Geekbench website. We are currently not aware if there will be any other RAM variant of the Tab A9 tablet model will be introduced and also how much storage space it will offer is also unknown.
The final information which the Geekbench listing of the vanilla Galaxy Tab A9 model reveals Android 13 OS which will be layered with OneUI interface customized for tablet.
Now speaking of the benchmark scores, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A9 achieved 735 points in the single-core test. Whereas, in the multi-core test, this tablet has logged 1,766 points. The remaining sec-sheet of the Galaxy Tab A9 should be revealed in the coming weeks.
