Hero Honda Splendor Electric Motorcycle Testing Begins?
The Hero Honda Splendor electric has been spotted recently on the streets of Pune. It appears Hero has started testing its upcoming electric motorcycle to check the real life performance. The leaked image of the Splendor electric doing rounds online shows the bike with a camouflage covering. It doesn’t reveal much when we speak of the design.
But it appears that there won’t be any major differences compared to the ICE version except for the engine bay. Instead of the usual ICE engine, the Splendor EV will feature an all-electric powertrain. Online reports suggests that the test mule spotted in Pune could have been loaded with a prototype powertrain. That’s not it, this test mule is being claimed to be an older Splendor model integrated with the prototype powertrain for testing purpose.

Hero Honda Splendor Electric: To Feature GoGoa1 Electric Kit?
The upcoming Hero Honda electric is rumored to feature a new GoGoa1 kit. For reference, GoGoA1 is currently one of the established players to provide compatible electric conversion kits for ICE motorcycles. The brand already has solid expertise with Hero MotoCorp electric conversions kit and is offering a range of kits for different models.
Now, chances are that the Hero Splendor electric that has been spotted has the prototype GoGoA1 powertrain for testing. This electric kit is rumored to feature a larger battery pack for improved riding range per charge. However, the exact battery size that will power the Splendor electric is not known.
