MWC (Mobile World Congress) 2024 is world’s biggest technology fair where the brands showcase their upcoming product lineup and enhancements in the tech space. This year too, the global tech event is being hosted in Barcelona, where new gadgets are lined up for showcasing. But its not just smartphones, and other consumer-tech products up for display at the MWC. Chinese OEM Xiaomi has moved a step ahead and is showcasing its first electric car, i.e., the Xiaomi SU7 at the MWC 2024.

Xiaomi SU7 EV At MWC 2024
The MWC 2024 event is being hosted in Barcelona this year as well. The event starts on February 26 and will end on February 29, 2024. Xiaomi is showcasing its enhancements in the mobile technology with the flagship Xiaomi 14 series. But what’s turning more heads is the brand’s first electric car, i.e., the SU7.
The Xiaomi SU7 EV’s full design is highlighted with the prototype model being showcased at the event. Xiaomi has designed a modern and futuristic electric sedan whose design language is apparently inspired by the sports supercars.
The premium looking EV will measure 4,997 mm in length and 1,455 mm in height boasting a strong road presence with its modern looks. The Xiaomi SU7 has an aggressive front approach which is complemented by the aerodynamic ergonomics. This e-sedan has a sloping roofline and will include a panoramic sunroof.
The Xiaomi SU7 prototype which has taken the centre stage at the MWC 2024 is painted in Aqua Blue shade. This is one of the multiple trendy color options we are expecting Xiaomi to introduce with the SU7. The electric sedan apparently sits on big 19-inch and 20-inch wheels which further boasts its sports profile.
Visuals of the cabin have not been revealed clearly since Xiaomi has used tinted glass panels for the electric sedan. But we are expecting a big touchscreen infotainment screen and instrument console and least of button controls.

The Xiaomi SU7 electric sedan will be launched in multiple battery pack and motor options. There will be a standard model which will feature a smaller 73.6 kWh battery variant which is claimed to offer 668 km range with each charge cycle. A bigger battery version of the SU7 is also expected to launch in the future.
This variant will be powered by a 101 kWh battery and could ride to a max distance of up to 800 km with a full charge. Xiaomi will launch the SU7 electric sedan with both RWD (rear-wheel drive) and AWD (all-wheel drive) choices. The former will use a single electric motor setup mounted at the rear axle producing 299 PS peak power, while the dual-motor model will generate higher power output of 673 PS.
