Nothing is set to launch a special version of its popular smartphone, the Nothing Phone 2a. Called the “Community Edition,” it is set to launch in India on October 30, 2024. This new version has been designed with direct input from Nothing’s fan community. While the phone’s specifications remain the same, the design, wallpapers, and packaging have been customized based on fan contributions.

- Phosphorescent Design: The Community Edition’s glow-in-the-dark exterior is the most noticeable difference. The phone has a unique green coating that emits light when it’s dark outside.
- Custom Wallpapers: The phone also comes with custom wallpapers and packaging. This helps to continue the glowing theme throughout. These features were developed with ideas from the community.
- Same Powerful Performance: While the design is different, the internal specifications remain unchanged. The MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Pro chipset powers the phone.
