Maruti Suzuki is all set to commence its EV venture in India. The first offering from the company is the e Vitara which has been teased earlier as the eVX concept. Maruti recently confirmed its plans to bring the e Vitara by 2025 in India and now have started teasing its upcoming electric SUV online. The first set of teasers of the India-bound e Vitara comes right before its debut which is scheduled for the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025.

India-Bound Maruti Suzuki e Vitara Officially Teased
Maruti Suzuki has already showcased the e Vitara in Milan recently and now is bringing it finally to the Indian shores. Ahead of its unveiling, the e Vitara has been teased officially confirming its debut soon in the country. Maruti is set to introduce the e Vitara during the upcoming Bharat Mobility Global Expo which is starts on January 17, 2025. With just a few weeks left for its unveiling, Maruti is expected to drop in frequent teasers revealing details about its first BEV (born electric vehicle).
In its latest teaser, Maruti has give the glimpse of the e Vitara’s final production-ready design which is almost the same as the eVX concept. While most of the design elements are kept same, there are subtle changes that makes the design more realistic and practical. Moving away from the shaper corners and edges of the eVX, the e Vitara will rather offer more curved stance.

Hyundai Creta EV Also Debuting On The Same Day
Just a while ago, Hyundai also confirmed the launch of its mid-range e-SUV, the Creta EV on the same date, i.e., January 17. Both these new e-SUVs are expected to steal the limelight at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025 while getting introduced as top contenders of each other. While Maruti is showcasing the e Vitara on the aforementioned date, it is expected to be launched sometime around March 2025 in India. We are yet to get details related to its deliveries which likely will be clear within the next few months.
