Oppo has been aggressively revamping its budget “A” smartphone lineup. The latest model announced in this series is the A76 4G. The latest model has been introduced in Malaysia and should soon break covers in the remaining global markets including India. Amongst the Oppo A76 4G’s key highlights are the Snapdragon 680 chipset, 90Hz display, and 33W fast charging.
Oppo A76 4G Full Specifications
Oppo has used an IPS LCD display on the A76 4G. The panel comes with an aspect ratio of 89.9 percent and supports an HD+ screen resolution. The refresh rate offered by the IPS LCD is 90Hz. A punch-hole camera cutout positioned at the upper left corner of the display accommodates an 8MP camera for selfies and video calling.
If we speak of the rear cameras, the Oppo A76 4G has a similar setup as the recently launched Vivo Y15s in India. It has a 13MP main camera clubbed with a 2MP secondary sensor. Under the hood, the latest Oppo A series phone employs the Snapdragon 680 processor. This is Qualcomm’s new chipset designed for mid-range 4G Android phones.
The processor is clubbed with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage configuration. Notably, the handset supplements an additional 5GB of RAM using virtual RAM technology. The Oppo A76 4G has been pre-installed with Android 11 OS. It features a custom ColorOS 11.1 UI.
A physical fingerprint scanner is embedded within the handset’s power key for added security. As for connectivity, the A76 is equipped with some general options such as 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The handset also has a USB Type-C port that helps with data transfers and refueling the 5,000 mAh battery unit. The Oppo A76 4G also comes with fast charging support (33W).
Oppo A76 Price, Expected Global Launch
The Oppo A76 4G has been announced with a single 6GB RAM and 128GB storage configuration which is priced at RM899 in Malaysia. This amount is roughly around Rs. 12,000 as per Indian currency. We can expect the handset to arrive in the same price range in the country as well. However, the exact launch date of the Oppo A76 4G in India remains a mystery for now.
