Tecno is one of the most proactive smartphone OEMs in the budget Android mobile segment. The brand has flooded the market with numerous smartphones in a short span in different lineups. Earlier this year, Tecno introduced another new affordable smartphone lineup for consumers called Pova. The brand is now ready to strengthen its portfolio in the Pova series with the Pova 3 smartphone. The upcoming device could be announced soon; likely within the next few weeks. The developments related to its arrival as well as online availability has been announced by the brand itself. The upgrades that the Tecno Pova 3 will bring over its predecessor are also revealed.
Tecno Pova 3 Official India Launch Soon
Tecno has itself announced the release of the Pova 3 in India in the coming weeks. The company has not confirmed the exact date just yet. However, the availability details via e-commerce giant Amazon has been revealed. Ahead of the upcoming launch, Amazon has also created a dedicated microsite detailing all the Pova 3’s key features. The product page of the upcoming Pova phone also shows the full design aspects.
Starting with the design, the Pova 3 Amazon listing shows big frame upfront which has a punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera. The camera cutout is tiny and is placed at the center top. The bezel profile is standard, i.e, narrow on the sides and thick at the chin.
The Pova 3’s back panel has a dual-tone finish where a horizontal stipe at the center is the key design highlight. The back panel has three cameras on the top left aligned vertically. We could also figure out the side-mounted fingerprint scanner along with the power key on the right panel. This is again a standard design approach for budget Android smartphones.
Tecno Pova 3 Confirmed Specifcations
Thanks to the Amazon microsite, all the Tecno Pova 3 key specifications are also revealed. The e-commerce portal has revealed the octa-core Helio G88 chipset under the Pova 3’s hood. The Amazon listing shows up to 11GB Fusion RAM which indicates up to 8GB physical and 5GB virtual RAM support.
The Pova 3 will have an onboard storage space of up to 128GB which will be expandable via microSD card support. The product page listing also reveals the display details. The panel used is not revealed, however, a massive 6.9-inch screen size, FHD+ screen resolution, and 90Hz refresh rate is revealed. Lastly, the Tecno Pova 3 is also confirmed to pack a gigantic 7,000 mAh battery which will be combined with 33W fast charging technology.
