Airtel has joined hands with Axis Bank to launch a co-branded credit card. Under this partnership, the telecom operator will provide digital vouchers, discounts, cashback, and complimentary services benefits to its 340 million customers in the country.
“Through this win-win telco-bank partnership, Airtel customers will get access to Axis Bank’s world-class financial services portfolio and exclusive benefits, while Axis Bank will benefit from Airtel’s strong digital capabilities and deep distribution reach,” said Gopal Vittal, MD & CEO (India and South Asia), Bharti Airtel.
This partnership is expected to help Airtel and Axis to increase their reach to tier II and III markets so that more and more people can adopt digital payments mode. This partnership allows users to avail benefits like special discounts, digital vouchers, pre-approved instant loans, Buy Now Pay Later offerings, cashback, and complimentary services to Airtel customers.

Here Are Some Benefits Users Will Get Via Airtel And Axis Bank Partnership
1 Under this partnership users will get 25 percent cash back on the Airtel Black, Airtel mobile/DTH recharges, and Airtel Xstream Fiber payments.
2 There are also 10 percent cashback bill payments like electricity/gas/water; however, users have to make payments via Airtel Thanks applications.
3 There is also 10 percent cash back on the purchase of apps like Zomato, Swiggy, and BigBasket. Plus, there is 1 percent cash back on another spending.
4 Users will also get Amazon e-voucher close to Rs. 500 only for 30 days. However, it should be noted that the newly launched credit card is available for only Airtel users that are using the company’s Thanks mobile application.
Furthermore, the back announced that it will use or leverage digital services of the telecom operator’s C-PaaS platform, including call masking, voice, messaging, video, streaming, and virtual contact centre solutions.
