After launching the M2 chipset, Apple has silently increased the prices of the MacBook Air M1, which was launched in 2020 for Rs. 92,900. This development comes soon after launching the new MacBook Air and MacBook Pro at Worldwide Developers’ Conference (WWDC 2022) event on June 6th.
The M1-powered MacBook Air comes with an 8-core CPU, 8GB of RAM, 256GB of SSD storage, and a 7-core GPU is available in India for Rs. 92,900; however, now it will cost you Rs. 99,900. Notably, the price of the laptop has been changed in the Apple Store. But, the price is the same on e-commerce platforms Flipkart and Amazon India.

Let’s talk about the specifications of the new M2-powered MacBook Air comes with a 13.6-inch Liquid Retina display, 500 nits of peak brightness, up to 24GB of RAM, and 2TB of storage space, 8-core CPU, and up to 10-core GPU.
The company claims that the new MacBook Air offers a battery life of up to 18 hours and has a 1080p FaceTime HD camera on the front side of the laptop. There is also a Magic Keyboard, stereo sound, and support for spatial Audio while playing video and music with Dolby Atmos. On the connectivity front, the laptop has two Thunderbolt / USB 4 ports, a 3.5mm jack, WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.0, and TouchID for security purposes.

According to the company the MacBook Air M2, the price of the laptop starts at Rs. 1,19900 in India for 8GB of RAM, 256GB of SSD Storage, 8-core CPU, and 8-Core GPU. While the other model 8GB of RAM, 512GB of SSD storage, 8-Core CPU, and 10-Core GPU will cost you Rs 1,49,900. In addition, buyers can expand the RAM up to 24GB and storage to 2TB SSD to Rs. 40,000 and Rs. 60,000 more.
