ASUS ROG Ally: Price

ASUS has launched two variants of the ROG Ally. The base model starts at $599, while the more powerful variant, dubbed “Extreme,” is priced at $699.

The device features a 7-inch IPS display with Full HD resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The ROG Ally is equipped with an AMD Z-series processor and has 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM. The device is compatible with games available on multiple services, including Windows, Xbox, Android, and Steam.

The handheld gaming device is powered by an AMD Ryzen Z1 Extreme processor, which is based on Zen 4 technology from AMD. The Ryzen Z1 CPU (up to 2.8 Teraflops per second) is present in the base configuration, while the Ryzen Z1 Extreme processor (up to 8.6 teraflops) is present in the more expensive model. Both variants come with AMD Radeon Navi3 Graphics, 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and 512GB of PCIe 4.0 NVMe M.2 SSD.

ASUS ROG Ally: Battery

It sports a 40WHr battery with 65W charging capabilities and two speakers with ASUS’ Smart Amplifier Technology. The ROG Ally also includes a USB 3.2 Gen2 Type C connector combo port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and support for a UHS-II microSD card reader.

The ROG Ally boots Windows 11 out of the box and comes with three months of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. It works with Xbox Game Pass, Epic Games, EA applications, and Steam games.

The ROG Ally’s dimensions are 28.0 x 11.1 x 2.12 cm, and its weight is roughly 608 grams.
