Asus ROG Phone 6 India launch confirmed for July 6
Will feature Snapdragon 8_ Gen 1 chipset

Asus is all set to launch ROG Phone 6 on June 5th. The company has made this announcement via its social media account. Besides, the company said that the event will be live-streamed on July 5 at 8 MP Taipei or 2PM in Berlin time. The company has also revealed that it will bring gaming accessories along with gaming headphones and the ROG Phone 5 successor.
Asus ROG Phone 6: Expected Specifications
The Asus ROG phone 6 is known as the successor of the ROG Phone 5 series that was launched last year. The smartphone series was powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 888 chipset. However, the ROG Phone 6 is likely to have three models, including ROG Phone 6, ROG phone 6 Pro, and the ROG Phone 6 Ultimate. Besides, all upcoming smartphones are expected to have Snapdragon 888+ Gen 1 chipset.
The base variant will have Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset, while the Plus model will have TSMC’s 4nm process node as against Samsung. Notably, Qualcomm said that Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+ processor offers 30 percent faster CPU performance than Snapdragon 8 Gen 1.
ROG Phone 5s and 5s Pro Smartphone: Details
For the unaware, the ROG 5s and 5s Pro feature 6.78-inch Samsung-made E4 AMOLED display along with a 144Hz refresh rate and HDR10+ support. Both devices come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888+ processor.
The 5s Pro has 18GB of RAM and 512GB of storage, whereas the 5s has 12GB of RAM and 245GB of storage; however, there is no micro-SD card slot. Both devices come with an 11-based ROG UI, Wi-Fi 6, and triple cameras, including a 64MP primary camera, 13MP ultra-wide angle, and 5MP macro camera.
