Ather Energy could soon be launching its first electric motorcycle. The E2W manufacturer is currently competing in this space with the 450 series and Rizta electric scooter. The brand has filed an IPO with SEBI (Securities and Exchange Board of India) and have also revealed the new platforms being developed for the future-gen e-scooters and e-motorcycles.

Ather Energy New EV Platforms Under Development
Ather Energy has confirmed the development of the new EV platform for its new-generation electric two wheelers. The platforms being developed are called “Zenith” and “EL”. The former will be powering the Ather electric motorcycles, while the latter will be used for developing electric scooters.
As per the reports, the EL platform will be utilizing the existing Ather 450 e-scooter’s platform with several optimizations and enhancements for an upgraded performance. That said, the Zenith platform which will be used for the e-motorcycles. The new platform will allow Ather e-motorcycles to take on the up to 300 cc motorcycles.
Furthermore, the Athr e-motorcycles featuring the new Zenith platform will also be integrating advanced range of features such as digital instrument console with Bluetooth compatibility. The instrument cluster will also offer navigational services and display ride, battery stats.

Ather Electric Motorcycle: When Is The Launch Expected?
The Ather electric motorcycle that will be based on the Zenith platform might launch in the coming years. Unfortunately, no exact timeline is known as of now. We might see the upcoming Ather electric motorcycle being integrated with the new lithium- Iron Phosphate (LFP) battery platform which is also under development. We are looking out for all the updates and will be sharing the details once announced.
