In a significant development, Audi India has unveiled its inaugural 450kW fast charging station located in Mumbai at BKC (Bandra Kurla Complex). This new charging facility, established in collaboration with Charge Zone, boasts a high-powered gun capable of delivering an impressive 360kW/500amps to electric vehicles. The charging station is equipped with five charging hubs and provides customers with all-day lounge access. Moreover, the facility incorporates solar roof panels to generate energy for peripheral electrical requirements, aligning with sustainable energy practices.
Complimentary E-Charging For Audi E-Tron Customers
Audi is extending a special offer to its Audi e-tron customers, providing complimentary e-charging services at this station until March 2024. This initiative aims to promote the adoption of electric vehicles and enhance customer experience.
Fast Charging Capabilities
A highlight of the station is its rapid charging capabilities. According to Audi, the Audi Q8 55 e-tron, featuring a 114kWh battery, can charge from 20 percent to 80 percent in a mere 26 minutes. This fast-charging time significantly contributes to the convenience of electric vehicle users.

Expanding Charging Network Across India
Audi India has been proactive in establishing a robust charging infrastructure, with over 140 chargers already deployed across 73 cities in India. The Mumbai fast charging station marks Audi’s foray into high-power charging infrastructure, and plans are underway to replicate this model in multiple major cities.
