Xiaomi has launched the Redmi Pad SE in the European markets with mid-tier spec sheet. This model is packed with an 11-inch display which is an LCD panel similar to the first-gen Redmi Pad model. A few days back, Vivo unveiled its third Android tablet called the Pad Air. The new premium mid-range tablet was announced in China. However, Vivo kept the camera, configuration, and other key features along with the pricing details a mystery all this while. But now, the Chinese tech giant has finally revealed all the details including hardware as well as pricing and availability.

We already know most of the key features offered by the Vivo Pad Air tablet including the display, chipset, and battery. Now, the OEM has also revealed the optics and RAM/ storage variants of the tablet. The Vivo Pad Air tablet is packed with an 11.5-inch display. The panel used is same as the Vivo Pad 2, i.e., and LCD that supports a high refresh rate of 144Hz. The

Vivo Pad Air tablet’s display further comes with a resolution of 2.8K and supports 10-bit and P3 color gamut. The camera features are decent. The Vivo Pad Air has an 8MP main camera packed the rear panel for primary photography, while for selfies it relies on a standard 5MP sensor.

At its core, the Vivo Pad Air uses the premium Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 octa-core chipset as its brain of operations. This tablet will be available with up to 12GB RAM and 512GB UFS 3.1 storage space. Vivo has loaded its new tablet with the latest Android 13 OS which is further topped with the OriginOS 3.0 user interface designed specifically for tablets.

The Vivo Pad Air offers Wi-Fi (up to 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, and GPS connectivity features. It has a USB Type-C port for charging and data transfers. It is compatible with Vivo Pencil 2 stylus pen and also magnetic keyboard. It uses an 8,500 mAh battery pack along with 44W fast charging to keep the lights on.

Vivo Pad Air Price, Availability

Vivo has launched the Pad Air tablet in multiple configurations where the base model with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage is priced at CNY 1,799 (approx. Rs. 20,000). The Vivo Pad Air tablet with 8GB RAM+256GB storage and 8GB RAM+ 512GB storage have been launched at CNY 1,999 (approx. Rs. 23.000) and CNY 2,299 (Rs. 26,000 approx.) respectively, while the top-most model with 12GB RAM and 512GB storage is priced at CNY 2,599 (Rs. 29,732). Vivo will be selling the Pad Air tablet in China starting August 18 in China but has confirmed its availability in the global markets.

The Tecno MegaBook T1 laptop is introduced with a modern design and has equipped it with premium features. The Tecno notebook features a horizontal shiny strip on the lid that adds to the appeal, while the total weight of 1.48 kg it is a portable laptop that will be easy to carry around. The Tecno MegaBook laptop has a 14.8mm thickness and integrates a physical fingerprint scanner for biometric authentication.

Tecno has packed the MegaBook T1 laptop woth a 15.6-inch display panel. The screen of the first Tecno laptop comes with an FHD resolution support and has a 100 percent sRGB color gamut. The laptop’s display further features an adaptive DC Dimming technology and a peak brightness level of a 350 nits. for audio, this laptop features a dual speaker module and also has DTS audio tech.

There is a 2MP webcam offered by the Tecno MegaBook laptop which will allow users to do web conferencing. It features a dual microphone system that gets AI environmental noise cancellation for enhanced audio clarity. For power delivery, the Tecno MegaBook T1 notebook features 11th Gen intel Core i3, intel Core i5, and Intel Core i7 chipset.

The notebook will be available with 8GB/16GB RAM and 512GB/1TB storage space. As for the firmware, the Tecno MegaBook will come with Windows 11 OS. The notebook will be using a 70Wh battery pack with 65W fast charging support.
