Samsung will soon host its big fat virtual tech festival called the ‘Galaxy Unpacked’ event. The company recently announced that its Galaxy Unpacked event will take place this month on August 11, 2021. The South Korean Technology Giant will launch a host of new gadgets at this Tech Fest. But now, ahead of the Galaxy Unpacked event, the price of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3, Z Fold 3, etc have leaked on the internet.

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 – Specs and Price

Samsung will soon launch the Galaxy Z Flip 3 and its prices have now leaked on the internet. The 128 GB internal storage variant of the smartphone will be priced at 1099 Euros (roughly Rs 97,000) while the top-spec 256 GB variant will be priced at 1149 Euros (roughly Rs 1.01 lakh). The upcoming Galaxy Z Flip 3 will be powered by the latest flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 – Specs and Price

Samsung will launch the new Galaxy Z Fold 3 too at the upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event. The Galaxy Z Fold 3 will also be powered by the latest flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor. This upcoming foldable smartphone is now expected to be compatible with Samsung’s popular S Pen too. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 will also be available in two variants. The base variant with 128 GB of internal storage will be priced at 1899 Euros (roughly Rs 1.67 lakh) while the top-spec trim with 256 GB internal storage will be priced at 1999 Euros (roughly Rs 1.76 lakh).

Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 Series – Specs and Price

Samsung will also launch the new Galaxy Watch 4 Series at the same virtual event. The new Galaxy Watch 4 Series will comprise the Galaxy Watch 4, Galaxy Watch 4 Classic and Galaxy Watch Wise. Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 – Specs and Price

Finally, Samsung will also launch the new Galaxy Buds 2 at the Galaxy Unpacked Event. The Galaxy Buds 2 will be a successor to the standard Galaxy Buds that was launched way back in 2019 and it will focus on the improved audio experience. The upcoming new Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 will be priced at 159 Euros (roughly Rs 14,000).

Design and Colour Variants – The new Micromax IN 2B is a good looking smartphone. The company has worked on its design and the gradient finish on its back panel looks nice. The Micromax IN 2B is available in India in three colour variants. They are Blue, Black and Green.

Camera – The new Micromax IN 2B sports a dual-camera set-up at the rear. The primary camera of the smartphone is a 13 MP shooter with f/1.8 aperture and it gets a 2 MP secondary sensor. At the front, it features a 5 MP camera for selfies and videos.

Massive Battery – The Micromax IN 2B packs a massive 5000mAh battery and it can easily last for more than 24 hours for most users.

Display – The new Micromax IN 2B features a 6.52-inch HD+ display with 720 x 1600 pixels resolution. This display panel has a maximum brightness level of 400 nits.

Price – Micromax has launched the new IN 2B smartphone in two variants. The base variant that gets 4 GB RAM and 64 GB of internal storage has been priced at Rs 7,999 while the top variant with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage has been priced at Rs 8,999.

CONS

Processor – The new Micromax IN 2B is powered by the Unisoc T610 octa-core processor which comes paired with ARM Mali G52 GPU. This processor isn’t that widely used in India and it’s a low-end SoC.

No Fast Charger – The Micromax IN 2B packs a massive 5000mAh battery but sadly, it doesn’t get a fast charger. It gets a regular 10W charger only.

Brand Value – Micromax was once defunct in India and now they are back. However, the company’s brand value isn’t that good, especially when there are rivals like Realme, Xiaomi’s Redmi series, Infinix, etc.

This new budget offering from the company is the third smartphone in the Lava Z2 series after the vanilla Lava Z2 and the Lava Z2 Max. Design and Colour Shade – The new Lava Z2s looks good, considering it is a budget smartphone. The new Lava Z2s has a textured finish on the back panel and it is available in a single Stripped Blue colour variant.

Display – The new Lava Z2s features a 6.51-inch HD+ display with 1600 x 720 pixels resolution and a 20:9 aspect ratio. The display panel of the Lava Z2s even gets a 2.5D curved Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.

Cameras – The budget-friendly new Lava Z2s sports a single camera at the rear and a single snapper on the front too. It gets an 8 MP primary camera at the rear and an 8 MP camera at the front for selfies & videos.

Big Battery – The Lava Z2s packs a massive 5000mAh battery. However, it gets a regular 10W charger.

Introductory Price – The price of the new Lava Z2s currently starts at Rs 7,099 for the only variant on sale that gets 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage.

CONS

Unspecified Processor – Lava has not specified the name of the processor they have used for the Lava Z2s. The company has only mentioned that the smartphone gets a MediaTek Helio processor.

Regular Price – Once the introductory offer comes to an end, the Lava Z2s will be priced at Rs 7,999 and at this price point, it isn’t a value for money device.

Rivals Offer Better Value – Some rivals of the new Lava Z2s like the recently launched Realme C11 (2021 version) offer better value to the customers.

Premium Design – The OnePlus Nord 2 looks impressive. It boasts of a premium design with a glass back panel and there are subtle chrome bits surrounding its frame and camera module. OnePlus Nord 2 has a minimalistic design theme and it is available in two colour shades. They are – Gray Sierra and Blue Haze.

Stunning Display – The OnePlus Nord 2 features a 6.43-inch FHD+ Fluid AMOLED display with 1080 x 2400 pixels and a 90 Hz high refresh rate system. The display panel is protected by the Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The AMOLED display of the OnePlus Nord 2 is stunning and it has a pixel density of 409 PPI.

Powerful Processor – The new OnePlus Nord 2, like most other flagship devices these days, is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 processor. This new MediaTek SoC is built on a 6 nm architecture and the chipset comes paired with the Mali-G77 MC9 GPU. This processor even supports 5G mobile networks.

Good Cameras – The OnePlus Nord 2 features a triple-camera set-up at the rear. It gets a 50 MP primary camera along with an 8 MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2 MP mono shooter. At the front, the smartphone sports a very high-res 32 MP camera for selfies and videos. The cameras of the new Nord 2 are impressive.

Massive Battery with Superfast Charger – The new OnePlus Nord 2 packs a massive 4500mAh battery and to juice it up, the company is offering a superfast 65W charger bundled inside the retail box.

Decent Price – The new OnePlus Nord 2 has been launched in India in three variants. The base variant gets 6 GB of RAM with 128 GB of Internal Storage and has been priced at Rs 27,999. The 8 GB RAM + 128 GB Internal Storage variant is priced at Rs 29,999 while the top-spec 12 GB RAM + 256 GB Internal Storage variant has been priced at Rs 34,999.

CONS

No 3.5 mm Headphone Jack – Just like most modern-day premium smartphones, the new OnePlus Nord 2 misses out on a 3.5 mm audio jack.

Glass Back but Plastic Frame – The new OnePlus Nord 2 has a premium appeal with its glass back design. However, it gets a plastic frame and not a metal frame. OnePlus should have used a metal frame.

Integrated ColorOS – The OnePlus Nord 2 runs on OxygenOS 11.3 based on Android v11. The OxygenOS 11.3 integrates the ColorOS and OnePlus has added the settings menu, Camera UI, etc. from the ColorOS.

Base Variant’s Availability – The base variant of the OnePlus Nord 2 will be available for a limited period only and that’s actually not good for the consumers as most people want to purchase its base variant only.

CONS

No 3.5 mm Audio Jack – The Poco F3 GT is a gaming-centric smartphone but sadly it misses out on a 3.5 mm audio jack.

Decent Cameras – The cameras of the Poco F3 GT aren’t that great. It features a 64 MP primary shooter along with an 8 MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2 MP macro shooter. At the front, it gets a 16 MP camera for selfies and videos.  

Only Two 5G Bands – The Poco F3 GT is a 5G flagship-grade smartphone. However, it supports only two 5G bands.

Brand Value – The Poco F3 GT rivals the likes of the OnePlus Nord 2, Realme X7 Max 5G, Oppo Reno6, etc. At this price point, people prefer a smartphone from a premium brand but Poco lacks snob value.
