The Samsung Galaxy m42 will be launched on April 28 in India

We have all seen a time when Samsung is considered to be a costly phone in terms of smartphones. However, in the last five years, the scenario of Samsung mobile phones changed dramatically when they started launching the budget smartphones.

The M series of Samsung plays a significant role in user engagement and building the Samsung market. All the models of the M series are very affordable to buy for Indians with high performance and lots of features.

This time also, Samsung carried the diamond, Galaxy M42, in the M series to jam the mobile market. The announcement of Galaxy M42 was revealed a few weeks ago; however, there was no mention related to the launching date. Now the date is declared, and the Samsung M42 will be launched in India on the upcoming April 28, 2021.

The Amazon teaser has released the few specifications of Galaxy M42. The launching event will be scheduled virtually due to the increasing number of Covid cases at sharp 12 noon and streamed live on Youtube and many other selected social media platforms that we will be known later.

Some days earlier, we were predicting which chipset will be used in Galaxy M42, but now we know. Here are some configurations released by the company.

Configuration of Galaxy M42

The full-featured pack device will be powered by a 750G Snapdragon processor and have a Qualcomm chipset. Interestingly, only two smartphones are available in India with a similar Snapdragon chipset – Xiaomi Mi 10i and Moto G 5G.

The 750G Snapdragon is an Octa-core processor and has a 2.2 GHz prime clock speed. The processor chipset is built on just an 8 Nanometer fabrication, and the Adreno 619 GPU is taking care of graphics. Moreover, this 750G chipset is also useful for 5G network support as it is a 5G approved chipset and uses X52 5G Qualcomm for 5G network connectivity.

If we talk about recent timings then, Galaxy M42 is the second model followed by Galaxy M51 with the support of Snapdragon chipset. Galaxy M51 was launched last September 2020 with this chipset, and the performance at that time was one of the best.

As per the teaser by Amazon, the Galaxy M42 will come with many additional security features like – A secure folder that is like private mode and can be run by double click on the power button, and AltZ will be offered two amazing features named Content suggestions and Quick switch.

Besides all these functionalities, the Galaxy M42 will come in the pack of giant 6000 mAh battery backup and with a Full High Definition Plus display. The body layout design and look are quite similar to Galaxy F62 from the back.

As far as the price of the budget smartphone is concerned, the Galaxy M42 is expected to be available in the market with a pricing tag of around 25000 INR.

Iqoo 7 to be rebranded as iqoo neo 5 in India

These days, most people prefer to choose high-branded and popular companies’ smartphones, instead of other newly launched or unpopular companies as these companies have high performance and lots of many interesting features even though they have the higher price.

iQoo started its journey in 2019 as the sub-brand of Vivo, and it is one of the not-so-popular companies across the world. However, it offers high-performance features to its users in recent years. iQoo is constantly working to be ranked in the mobile market race. Indeed, they do quite amazing work across the world at competitive pricing.

On 26th April 2021, the company iQoo is planning to launch their phone of the season iQoo 7 and iQoo 7 Legend, the latest flagship smartphones. The new construction intimates that the iQoo 7 standard model will depend on iQoo Neo 5, a Chinese model.

As Chinese Neo 5 has already been released, we all know that it has the 888 Snapdragon chipset with a fast charging feature with a 66W charger. It has a 40,000 INR price tag.

Luckily, the mobile landing page of iQoo 7 is live now on the platform of Amazon India. Here’s the specification of India’s iQoo 7, which is the same as Neo 5 released last month.

Specification of iQoo 7

iQoo 7, which is to be launched in the month-end, is powered by an 870 Snapdragon chipset processor with a 3.2 GHz frequency, and the graphics will be handled by Adreno 660. Surprisingly, another chip called “Intelligent Display Chipset” is claimed to automatically raise the content frame rate and SDR to HDR visuals.

The display of iQoo 7 will have AMOLED 6.62 inches with a refresh rate of 120Hz, which is equal to the refresh rate of OnePlus new launched models. Besides, it will have one thousand Hz of touch sampling and a peak brightness of 1300 nits. The HDR 10+ certification will be there on the device.

The fingerprint scanner will be on the screen—battery backup of 4400 mAh that was later charged with a 66W fast charger. As per the iQoo 7 landing page, it is said that the phone will be fully charged within just 30 minutes.

As the camera becomes the first choice of users nowadays, iQoo contains the High Definition triple camera with 48MP main Sony IMX598 camera, the ultra-wide 12MP lens, and a depth sensor of 2MP. For taking selfie snaps, it contains a 16MP camera shooter.

The features and specifications of iQoo 7 are revealed; however, the pricing is not announced yet. If we have to predict the cost of iQoo 7, then it might be nearly around 40,000 INR.

The model will be a combo of LPDDR5 8GB of RAM and 128GB of memory storage, and the memory will not be expendable. iQoo 7 will be supported by Origin OS (Android 11) with a 2.84 GHz Octa-core processor.

Initially, back in the year 2018, the Poco was released by the company Xiaomi, and after which it continuously gained popularity among people. The first device, which is Poco F1, is the root of the success they have now.

They are again going to come up with an amazing smartphone, Poco M3 Pro supported 5G network in India by Poco. The launch dates are not announced yet, but some have predicted that it will be launched in the upcoming months. Moreover, the release of the Poco M2 Pro is also not too far to be launched in India.

As per the report of MySmartPrice, the upcoming model of Poco, which is the M3 Pro, might be a remark of the recently launched Redmi Note 10 with the 5G support. Besides, they also discover that this M3 Pro with model number “M2103K19PI” will be released with BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards) certification, which means to offer the third party security of quality, reliability, and safety of users and product. The noticeable thing is that the “M2103K19PG” is spotted on Federal Communications Commission (FCC), while Note 10 by Redmi also belongs to it.

As per the documentation, it is stated that both Poco and Redmi devices (M3 Pro and Note 10, respectively) used similar material. However, the laser engraving and drawing of both these devices are different, which would change the design of the back panel and the position and size of branding.

There is no official functionality and specifications of M3 Pro 5G are revealed by Poco, but here we can predict some features of M3 Pro.

Specification of Poco M3 Pro

The first and foremost feature, as you can already assume by the name “M3 Pro 5G”, is that it will have the support of the 5G network and becomes the first Poco model to be released in India by the team.

The expected display of the M3 Pro might be Full HD+ with 6.5 inches LCD screen. We can expect the highest screen refresh rate of 90Hz in the entire Poco M series with a brightness of 500 nits.

In the past, November 2020, it was unveiled by Poco that they are trying to include 700 MediaTek Dimensity chipset. To make a budget and mid-range phone, a 7 Nanometer octa-core chipset processor might be there. The two sports chipset of Cortex-A76 CPU clocked 2.2 GHz and six chipsets of Cortex-A55. The graphics might be handled by Mali-G57 GPU.

Of course, the functionality of the camera is important nowadays, as Poco M3 Pro said to deliver a triple camera with a 48MP primary attached with 2MP both macro and depth sensor. We can predict that the selfie camera may be 8MP, but we never know what they have planned.

Instagram launches Remix on reels

After 29th June, when the Government of India officially banned 104 apps, including Tiktok, some people feel happy with the idea, while most of the creators were against this.

Surprisingly, after that, lots of companies try hard to get the place of Tik Tok in the Indian market. That’s why lots of applications like – Instagram Reels, MX Taka-Tak, Josh, Moj, Mitro, and a lot more are developed.

At first, Instagram surprised everyone with their new feature “Reel” on the day 5th August. They again came back with a new feature in Reel, which will help creators create content or video more creatively.

After continuously pushing Reels, a short video feature in India, they now added one of the Reels’ Tiktok features. The update is called Remix, which helps creators create a new video and post it with the existing ones.

If you can not remember correctly, this feature is the same as Tiktok’s Duets that enable users to re-post or reply to an existing video with their own new video.

As sometimes ago, Facebook announced that they launched the Instagram Reels on Facebook Feed; however, the option not for all creators but only for top and most famous creators.

Now there are some rumors that now Facebook will add the whole featured Reel on Facebook too. Unfortunately, there were no announcements by Facebook or Instagram on it.

What are the other features to be expected?

Instagram becomes a massive part of everyone’s lives. Not only this, people find it the only platform to offer the best AR effect, Live Rooms, Poll feature, and post stories and photos whatever and wherever they want.

As people are waiting for new features and services in Reel from last year, it’s launched. Some extra features in Reel were listed out by Instagram’s one of the announcements.

They said that they are planning to provide 30 seconds of short video recording instead of 15 seconds. Moreover, auto-capturing and recording the countdown timer will be extended from 4-5 seconds to 10 seconds, which is much more needed for everyone.

Perfect video recording is not the easy job that everybody can do. Even significantly fewer people can do it. That’s why Instagram will also provide the video editing tool to trim and delete some video portions and create attractive short video clips.

Furthermore, there will be a new feature added on Instagram, where the users can browse the latest and trending songs on Instagram, share their own audio clips, and share them with everyone.

How Remix works

  • You have to find a Reel first, which you want to do a duet with.
  • Tab Menu and select the option “Remix this Reel”.
  • After clicking the option, the screen will be divided into two-part. Right side, you will see the original video, and left side yours.
  • Now you can easily record your video as you both have original video and sound.
  • There are lots of editing tools to apply once you have recorded the video.

Xiaomi is about to host a Spring conference on March 29 in China. The company is also expected to host a global event to launch new products. We are expecting Xiaomi’s flagship device, the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra to make an appearance along with the Mi 11 Lite, which is likely to be launched. The Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite is expected to be seen in two variants – 4G and 5G. The complete spec sheet, images and pricing were leaked ahead of the launch by tipster Sudhanshu.

Specifications Of Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite

According to the leaked information, this model will be the slimmest phone of this season. The Mi 11 Lite is said to be of only 6mm thickness which is steps ahead in the competition as most phones these days come with 7.5 mm to 10mm thickness.

This device is also said to be ultra-light as it weighs only 150 grams, again undercutting the competition by a big margin. But, because the phone is so slim, it misses out on the headphone jack, which could come as a disappointment to some.

Display

When it comes to the display, the Mi 11 Lite has a 6.55-inch Full HD + AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 90 Hz offering a hassle-free and lag-free experience. The device is to be operated with a Snapdragon 732G chipset, which is also used in the Poco X3 and the Redmi Note 10 Pro in India.

There hasn’t been any information on the selfie camera as of now. That’s one thing you’ll have to wait on. The handset runs on MIUI 12 based on Android 11 and offers a lot of personal customisations, a trademark of the MIUI.

Battery

The phone comes with a 4,250mAh battery, which is acceptable but a little underwhelming. It also comes with a 33W fast charger in the box and combined with the battery.

Other mentioned specifications are Bluetooth 5.2, NFC and a microSD card slot to offer better connectivity and extra storage when required.

Chipset

The 5G variant of the Mi 11 Lite comes with either a Snapdragon 765G or a 775G SoC. Both of these have a tremendous clock speed of up to 2.4 GHz. Paired with an Adreno 618 GPU, the Mi 11 Lite promises a commendable performance at its price tag.

That’s all for today. All in all, Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite is a great catch for its price and sports a bomb spec ration with a dazzling interface. We hope you liked this article and will come back for more. Till then, stay tuned to our website for more such informational content.

Lenovo Yoga Slim 7i Carbon: Light As A Feather

The days of heavy laptops are over. Today’s customer wants a laptop built like a tank but light as a pencil box. Lenovo looks like it’s doing just what every customer wants it to do. With the new premium flagship product, the Lenovo Yoga Slim 7i Carbon, Lenovo promises to offer the best-in-class performance.

However with a weight that will make you forget the laptop is even there. Like the other laptops in the Yoga segment of Lenovo, the Slim 7i Carbon is very lightweight, weighing in at just under 1 KG. However, the light weight doesn’t comprise the performance the Slim 7i offers.

Let’s Talk About the Design and Looks

With a stylish-looking smooth Moon White façade, the Lenovo Yoga Slim 7i Carbon is made with Aerospace-grade aluminium and has a MIL standard certification to boast about its durability.

As with the durability, the Lenovo Yoga Slim 7i Carbon comes with a nine MIL-STD-810G military-grade standard that assures you that your device can withstand dust and extreme temperatures. Also, with that certification, you can trust the fact that your Yoga Slim 7i will see the daylight even after a drop test.

Lenovo offers you a 13.3-inch QHD+ IPS display with 2560 x 1440-pixel resolution. The laptop comes with a 16:10 aspect ratio with 91% screen to body ratio, 100% sRGB coverage, 300 nits of brightness, and a Dolby Vision certification that is the cherry on the top. The keyboard is a chiclet backlight one with stain resistance so you will be able to work be it day or night.

Some Behind The Scenes For Our Readers

The latest and most powerful processor of Intel’s, the Intel i7 11th Generation powers the Lenovo Yoga Slim 7i. This guarantees you that your Yoga Slim 7i will never be left behind when it comes to CPU-intensive work.

But you may not believe that, so Lenovo Yoga Slim 7i Carbon goes a step ahead and boasts of an Intel-Evo certification that cements the fact that the Slim 7i has undergone rigorous real-world scenarios and has proven its mettle when it comes to performance.

The Intel i7 11 Gen is paired with 16 GB of LPDDR4 RAM and 1 TB of M.2 PCle SSD that is unfortunately not upgradable. That’s right, for those who want a laptop they can build upon, the Yoga Slim 7i Carbon is not the ideal choice. But for regular users, 16 GB of high-speed RAM and 1 TB of fast-paced Solid-State Drive is a suitable configuration they can hold on to for as long as they want.

The graphics are handled by an Integrated Intel Iris Xe Graphics. This may be a little underwhelming considering that competitors in that range offer a dedicated graphics card but given the lightweight and the lightning-fast processor, graphics won’t be an issue.

Battery And Connectivity

The Lenovo Yoga Slim 7i Carbon comes with a 50 Whr battery that will give you an approx. 15 hours of video playback and 13 hours of productive work. As with all electronics, battery life varies based on the usage of the device. You also get a quick charge that gives an approx. 2 hours of video playback for 15 minutes of charging.

In terms of connectivity, you get a Wifi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, an IR camera, mic and headphone combo, a USB Type-C port, and two thunderbolt ports. The USB Type-C offers charging capabilities and also supports an external display with a 120 Hz refresh rate.

An Intelligent thermal cooling system and high-efficiency thermal fans with Q control cool the laptop’s processor.

The Lenovo Yoga Slim 7i Carbon costs Rs 1,19,990. It offers you featherweight portability and military-grade durability with a decent battery back up. To top it all, it has a stunning moon white exterior.
