BMW Motorrad has setup a new league in the E2W segment in India. The brand has introduced the most premium electric scooter, i.e., the CE 04 which also happens to the be the most expensive model in the country. The BMW CE 04 will be up for grabs as CBU unit with a price range over Rs. 14 lakh making it costlier than some of the popular electric cars.

BMW CE 04 is the most high-end e-scooter in India which is integrated with powerful liquid-cooled PMSM electric motor. The power generated by the new BMW electric scoter is 31 kW (peak output) wit the torque generation being around 62 Nm. The power transmission to the rear wheel takes via the belt drive.
The BMW CE 04 electric scooter have been integrated with a large 8.5 kWh battery which the brand is claiming can deliver up to 130 km per charge. The standard charger with the BMW CE 04 is a 2.3 kW unit which can charge it within 30 minutes from 0- 80 percent. BMW is also offering an additional Wallbox charger for the consumers demanding quick charge services.
Speaking further on the performance, the BMW CE 04 can reach a max speed of 120 kmph. This is an electronic cap on the top speed. Acceleration is also quick with the e-scooter taking just 2.6 seconds to for a 0- 50 kmph sprint.
The design of the CE 04 is also unique and it sits on a single tubular steel frame. Heated grips and multiple riding modes (Eco, Rain, Road) are some of the advanced features it offers along with dual disc ABS braking system. The CE )4 sports a 10.25-inch split color display compatible with Bluetooth.

BMW CE 04 Price In India
The CE 04 as previously mentioned gets a price tag higher than some of the popular electric cars in the country. It is introduced at Rs. 14.90 lakh which makes it expensive than the Tiago.ev, Punch.ev, and the Comet EV. The brand has started taking pre-orders officially and the deliveries will begin from September this year.
