BYD has announced the Atto 3 in India at Rs. 33.99 lakh. It is the Chinese brand’s second all-electric offering in the country. It is positioned above the e6 MPV. The electric SUV features a blanked-out chrome grille with sleek LED headlamps.
Since the SUV’s October 11 debut, BYD has been accepting reservations for the Atto 3 for a nominal fee of Rs. 50,000. According to the company, they have already received 1,500 bookings so far. BYD Atto 3 Features
There are also seven airbags, a panoramic sunroof, a 12.8-inch adaptive rotatable Screen, a 3600 holographic transparent image system, an NFC card key, and a Vehicle to Load transportable charging station. It also has the level 2 ADAS BYD Dipilot.
BYD-Atto 3 is equipped with wireless smartphone charging, an eight-speaker audio system, a one-touch electric tailgate, voice control, electric seat adjustment, and multi-color gradient ambient lighting that adapts to the rhythm of the music, and PM 2.5 air filter, CN95 air filter, etc.
BYD Atto 3 Powertrain
The BYD Atto 3 is powered by a front axle-mounted permanent magnet synchronous electric motor. It offers 201 horsepower and 310 Nm of torque, allowing the electric SUV to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in a claimed 7.3 seconds.
BYD Atto 3 Charging
BYD Atto 3 is powered by the Born EV platform and ultra-safe Blade battery. According to ARAI’s tests, the BYD Atto 3 has a range of 521 km and a battery capacity increased to 60.48 kWh. The electric SUV also touts a 7.3-second 0–100 km/h acceleration time as well as rapid charging from 0–80 percent in 50 minutes. The company offers a 7kW home charger and a 3kW portable charging box.

The price of the new electric car is Rs. 33.99 lakh (all India, ex-showroom). Customers can reserve the BYD-Atto 3 e-SUV at any BYD India dealership, where it will be on display in every showroom.
