Reformed Driving Range
Despite featuring an identical battery pack, the upcoming Atto 3 variant is expected to present a modified driving range. Sources suggest that this new variant will offer a claimed range of 264km, distinguishing it from the current version.
In contrast, the existing Atto 3, equipped with a 60.48kWh battery pack unit, boasts an impressive claimed range of 512km on a full charge. The charging efficiency remains noteworthy, with the battery pack capable of reaching 80 percent capacity in just 50 minutes using an 80kW DC fast charger.
Current Variants And Pricing
Currently, the BYD Atto 3 is available in two variants: Extended Range and Special Edition. The latter unveiled at the Auto Expo 2023 in January, is priced at Rs. 34.49 lakh (ex-showroom). With the introduction of the new variant, BYD aims to diversify its offering, making electric mobility more accessible to a broader range of customers.
