The telecom operator has increased the prices by 25 percent with effect from November 25th, 2021. This development comes a day after Airtel announced new packs for its prepaid users.

“The new plans will start the process of ARPU (average revenue per user) improvement and help address the financial stress faced by the industry,” Voda Idea said. Vi New Prepaid Plans

Let’s start with the tariff voice plan, where users have to shed an extra Rs. 20 as this plan will now cost you Rs. 99 instead of Rs. 20. In terms of benefits, this pack offers talk time worth Rs. 99 and 200MB data for 28 days.

Vi Unlimited Plans For 28 Days

Moving to the unlimited plans of the company that start from Rs. 179 instead of Rs. 149. This pack offers unlimited calling, 2GB of data, and 300 messages. Then, there is an Rs. 269 plan that offers 100 messages per day, 1GB of data per day, and unlimited calling. This pack used to price at Rs. 219.

The third plan in the same segment is now priced at Rs. 299, which is Rs. 50 higher than the earlier price as users have to pay Rs. 249. This pack offers unlimited calling, 100 messages per day, and 1.5GB of data per day.

The last pack in the same segment is priced at Rs. 359, where users will get 100 messages per day, 100 messages per day, and 2GB of data per day. Earlier, this pack was priced at Rs. 299.

Vi Unlimited Plans For 56 Days

There are only two plans in this segment that will cost you Rs. 479 and Rs. 539. Earlier, these plans used to price at Rs. 399 and 449. Under these newly revised packs, users will be getting unlimited calling and 100 messages. In addition, users will get 1.5GB of data per day and 2GB of data per day.

In order to increase its average revenue per user, Airtel has finally increased the prices of its prepaid plans in the country. Airtel becomes the first telecom operator, which raises tariffs and that will be into effect from November 26, 2021.

“Bharti Airtel has always maintained that the mobile Average Revenue Per User (ARPU) needs to be at Rs. 200 and ultimately at Rs. 300, so as to provide a reasonable return on capital that allows for a financially healthy business model,” said the telco in an early morning statement on Monday.

Airtel New Prepaid Plans List

Let’s start with the base plan of Rs. 79, which will be now priced at Rs. 99 and users will get talk time worth Rs. 99 and 200MB data benefits for 28 days.

Airtel Unlimited Plan For 28 Days

Moving to the unlimited plans of the telecom plans, the first pack under the same segment will now cost you Rs. 179 instead of Rs. 149. The updated plan will provide you unlimited calling, 2GB of data per day, and 100 messages per day for 28 days.

The second plan in the list is now priced at Rs. 265 as against Rs. 219. This pack is now providing 100 messages per day, 1GB of data per day, and 100 messages for the same period.

The Rs. 299 plan offers 1.5GB of data per day, unlimited calling, and 100 messages per day. Earlier, this plan was priced at Rs. 249. Then, there is a pack of Rs. 359, which used to be priced at Rs. 298. Under this pack, all users will get 2GB of data per day, 100 messages per day, and unlimited calling.

Airtel Unlimited Plan For 56 Days

The Rs. 479 pack offers 1.5GB of data per day, 100 messages per day, and unlimited calling. This pack used to price at Rs. 399. The second plan in the list will now cost you Rs. 549 instead of Rs. 449. This pack now offers 2GB of data per day, unlimited calling, and 100 messages per day.

Apart from increasing prices of prepaid plans, India’s second-largest telecom operator has raised tariffs of data top-up plans. According to Airtel, the first data top-up plan will now cost you Rs. 58 instead of Rs. 48.

The second plan in the segment will now cost you Rs. 118 instead of Rs. 98. This pack now offers 12GB of data. The last plan in the segment is priced at Rs. 301, where users will get 50GB of data. Earlier, this plan was priced at Rs. 251.

[Giznext Exclusive]: Ambrane To Launch Soundbars And New Smartwatch In Next Two Months; Plans To Expand Manufacturing Lines

In order to increase their revenue, Chinese smartphone players have launched products in mobile phone accessories. In fact, the mobile phone accessories market in India is likely to reach $3,545 million by the end of 2026, registering a growth of 10.4 percent.

In an interview, he said, “The company is planning to expand its manufacturing lines and will shifting to the big factory in Haryana.” Railhan added that “We are going to add five lines and will be manufacturing all products.”

He exclusively informed Giznext that the company is planning to launch a smartwatch and soundbars in the next two months. Railhan further added that the soundbars will be in the mid-range segment and would be aggressively priced.

For the unaware, the company has recently launched a limited edition of AeroSync PB Wireless powerbank, which is autographed by the Ravindra Jadeja. The newly launched power bank provides fast charging, compact design, wireless charging, and more.

The powerbank also comes with a 10,000 mAh battery capacity, dual ports for wired charging, and magnetic charging technology. The limited-edition powerbank is priced at Rs. 3,999 and comes with 365 days warranty. It is already available on the e-commerce website Flipkart.

In addition, the powerbank comes with an 18W fast charging input that can be charged in three hours 10 minutes through a Type-C port.

Competition With Smartphone Makers

On competition with smartphone makers and the grey market, Sachin asserted that the Government of India has introduced BIS certification for all mobile accessories, so we believe that the grey market will have to stop selling products. He added this is the space we are targeting as Chinese brands are costlier than our products.

Ambrane Investment Plans

Sachin also revealed that the company is planning to invest in R&D, infrastructure, and equipment. Furthermore, he states that last year we have managed to garner Rs. 115 crores turnover and by the end of this financial year we are looking at 15 to 20 percent growth.

Currently, the company is providing three plans in the country that are priced at Rs. 129, Rs. 329, and Rs. 999. These plans are valid for one month, three months, and 365 days. Notably, the company has not announced the exact date or month when new prices will come into effect.

Amazon Prime Rs. 129 Monthly Pack

Lets’ start with the first plan of Rs. 129, which can be purchased via credit and selected debit cards. The company also said that the credit and debit card facility is limited to all banks that have complied with new guidelines of the Reserve Bank of India for recurring payments. This plan will allow you to access all services that have been offered by the application along with one or two delivery.

“Please note that effective 1 October 2021, your bank may not be able to process any requests for automated payments on your credit/debit cards unless it complies with RBI’s e-mandate guidelines. Therefore, we have temporarily discontinued new member sign-ups for Amazon Prime Free Trial until further notice. Amazon Prime Rs. 329 Three Month Plan

This plan of Amazon Prime comes with a validity of three months, where users will get all benefits of the app, including one or two-day deliveries, special discounts, and Prime Music for the same period.

Amazon Prime Rs. 999 Yearly Subscription Plan

The last and the yearly plan of the app will cost you Rs. 999, which allows users to access the benefits for one year. In addition, this plan seems a better option as it saves your money in comparison to three months pack. The quarterly plan will cost you Rs. 1,316, whereas the annual plan will cost you only Rs. 999.
