Samsung Galaxy A series is all set to be refreshed with a new 5G handset. The Galaxy A36 5G is the next offering from the company which will debut as the Galaxy A35’s successor introduced earlier this year. Just a while ago, the Galaxy A36 5G got listed at Geekbench where its key specs were revealed. While multiple leaks have tipped the features that we can expect from the new Samsung 5G phone, none have revealed the design. But Giznext is breaking the loop by brining in the industry-first 5K renders and 360° video of the Galaxy A36 5G that leaves a little to imagination in terms of design.

Samsung Galaxy A36 5G First Look: Here Are The 5K Renders And 360° Video
Giznext has joined hands with @Onleaks to bring you the first set of Galaxy 36 5G’s 5K renders and 360° video. And a closer look at the snapshots and the videos, the Galaxy A36 5G can be seen with a similar flat-screen design as its precursor, i.e, the Galaxy A35 5G.
Not just the flat frame, but the fascia including the centrally aligned punch-hole camera cutout are similar to the previous-gen variant. The bezel profile also remains same with minimal changes in overall thickness. It’s the updated camera island bump with three sensors at the rear which seems to be the primary distinguishing factor in the design overall in both Galaxy A36 5G and the Galaxy A35 5G.
That said, as per the source, the Galaxy A36 5G will have a relatively thin profile with its dimensions measuring roughly at 162.6 x 77.9 (78.4 including Key Island) x 7.4mm and 9.6mm thickness (with camera bump). On the right spine, there is the standard placement of both volume and the power keys.
It appears the power key doesn’t integrate the fingerprint scanner which raises the possibilities of an in-display fingerprint scanner for biometrics. The remaining slots including the USB Type-C port, SIM card tray are placed at the bottom.

Samsung Galaxy A36 5G: Specifications We Can Expect
Samsung Galaxy A36 5G is expected to be an upgrade in terms of hardware compared to the Galaxy A35 5G. The major focus could be on the performance enhancements. As per the recent Geekbench listing, the Galaxy A36 5G with SM-A366B model number will be powered by an ARM octa-core chipset combined with 6GB RAM and Adreano 610 GPU.
The chipset in charge of operations could either be the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 or the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2. However, the exact SoC is yet to be confirmed. Another confirmed feature of the Galaxy A36 5G is the new Android 15 OS which will be accompanied by a custom Samsung One UI interface.
There are chances that Samsung carries forward the same 120HZ AMOLED panel on the Galaxy A36 5G from the previous model. As for the camera and battery upgrades, we will have to wait a little more to be sure of the developments.
