CES 2022: MSI Revamps Its Gaming, Creative Laptop Series With New-Generation Models

This year’s biggest global technology event, i.e, CES 2022 is live and like last year technology brands are announcing their products using digital platforms. Multiple new smartphones, tablets, laptops, and other gadgets packed with new technologies have been announced during the ongoing tech show. MSI, which is quite popular for its high-end gaming laptops has revamped this series along with the ultrabook lineup. The brand has showcased as many as five different new-generation laptops integrated with the modern-gen Intel CPU and NVIDIA graphic cards. We have listed down all the newly announced MSI laptops at CES 2022 along with their features and specs.

MSI Creator Series Laptops

We are starting this list with MSI’s new range of creative laptops. The MSI Creator 17 and the MSI Creator Z16P are the newest models by the brand in this category. Both laptops are crafted using a CNC-milled aluminum chassis that brings in the durability factor. The company has used up to 12th Gen Intel Core i9 processor to power the new creative series laptops combined with RTX 3080 Ti GPU.

The MSI Creator 17 as the name suggests offers a 17-inch display that is touch-enabled. The Creator Z16P packs a 16-inch display with QHD+ resolution and a 145Hz refresh rate. Both laptops’ display comes with 100 percent DCI-P3 color gamut and support for MSI pen (optional).

This lineup also includes MSI Z16 model which is powered by 12th Gen Intel Core i7 processor along with NVIDIA GE Force RTX 3060 GPU. This model also features a 16-inch IPS QHD+ panel with a 120Hz refresh rate.

MSI Stealth GS77/66 Gaming Laptop

Unlike the aforementioned models, the MSI Stealth GS77 brings a sleek design with a 12th Gen Intel Core i9 processor tucked inside the hood. This gaming laptop is equipped with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Ti laptop GPU and has DDR5 RAM support. The display offered by the Stealth GS77 gaming laptop is a 4K/QHD+ panel (depending on the variant). For business gamers, this laptop features a webcam lock switch and support for 100W PD charging.

MSI Vector GP76/66 Gaming Laptop Series

This is another high-end gaming laptop lineup announced by MSI at the CES 2022. Similar to the above models, MSI has used the latest 12th Gen Intel Core i9 processor to drive this gaming laptop series. For further power delivery, this laptop lineup features NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Laptop GPU, 8GB DDR6 RAM, and SteelSeries RGB gaming keyboard. This model offers a 17.3-inch QHD+ display with a 100 percent DCI-P3 color gamut and a 240Hz refresh rate.

Infinix InBook X1 Laptop Series With 10th Gen Intel Core Processors Unveiled In India; Price, Full Specifications

Of late, there has been a surging trend with smartphone OEMs expanding their ventures to other consumer products such as smart TVs and digital accessories. Laptops seem to be the next market that has become the prime target for most smartphone brands. Infinix has also joined in this race with its new InBook X1 laptop series. The company has launched three models in the InBook X1 series priced aggressively to beat the competition from Xiaomi and Realme.

Infinix InBook X1 Laptop Series Full Specifications

The Infnix InBook X1 series has three different models. There is an Intel Core i3 processor variant, one Core i5 model, and one Core i7 model. The InBook X1 series laptop has up to 16GB LPDDR4X RAM and 512GB NVMe PCIE 3.0 SSD storage configuration. All three Core i3, Core i5, and Core i7 variants flaunt a 14-inch display and Intel IRIS Plus graphics.

The panel comes with 1080p FHD+ screen resolution, 100 percent sRGB color gamut, and 300 nits peak brightness levels. All three laptop’s displays offer a 180-degree viewing angle. Coming to the connectivity ports, the Infinix InBook X1 series features two Type-C ports, two USB 3.0 ports, one microSD card, one HDMI 1.4 port, one headphone jack, and one DC power charging port.

The Infinix InBook X1 series have Windows 10 OS Home Edition pre-installed. The laptops are packed with a 55Whr battery (all three models). The laptops come with a 65W fast USB Type-C charger which as per the company can recharge the devices up to 75 percent in 55 minutes.

Not only the specifications, but the Infinix InBook X1 laptop series also brings practical as well as appealing design to the table. The laptops are made using aircraft-grade aluminum alloy topped with a brushed metal finish. The company has designed lightweight laptops that weigh 1.48 Kgs and have 16.3mm thickness.

The laptops also integrate a dedicated hardware key which is for privacy that shuts down the camera and mic for added privacy whenever a user wants. The Infinix InBook X1 series features a backlit keyboard and also has DTS audio support.

Infinix InBook X1 Price In India, Specifications

The Infinix InBook X1’s entry-level model which packs an Intel Core i3 processor and comes with 8GB RAM/256GB SSD storage is announced at Rs. 35,999, while the Core i5 model which features 8GB RAM+ 512GB storage is priced at Rs. 45,999.

The top-of-the-line Infinx laptop offers Core i7 processor and 16GB RAM+ 512GB storage configuration and can be purchased at Rs. 55,999. The laptops will be available for sale starting December 15 on Flipkart.

Infinix Inbook X1 India Launch Pegged For December Second Week: Expected Price, Specs

Infinix is all set to launch its first laptop in India. The Infinix INBook X1 laptop is likely to compete with Xiaomi and Relame products in the country. Besides, the upcoming Infinix laptop has been listed on Flipkart and shows that it might be available in three color options: Aurora Green, Noble Red, and Starfall Grey.

Infinix INBook X1 Laptop Details

Ahead of the actual launch, Infinix has shared that the laptop will be lightweight and metal body. In addition, the device will have Intel Core i3, Core i5, and Core i7 processors. As per details shared by Infinix, the laptop will measure 16.3mm and weigh 1.48kg.

Besides, the laptop will have an all-metal body, aircraft-grade, and aluminum finish. It will also have a 55Whr battery that can provide 13 hours of video playback with a single charge.

Infinix Inbook X1 Pro Laptop

It is worth noting that Inbook X1 is the second laptop by the company as it has launched Inbook X1 Pro in the global market. The laptop is available for PHP 24,990, which is close to Rs. 37,000. It features 10th-Gen Intel core processors along with Intel Iris Plus graphics.

In addition, the Infinix Inbook X1 Pro laptop has 14-inch IPS LCD display along with a brightness of up to 300 and a viewing angle of 178 degrees.

It is important to note that Infinix has not shared the exact date of the launch, but sources close to the development told Giznext that the laptop will be launched in the second week of December.

Additionally, sources revealed that the laptop will be aggressively priced in India, which is why we expect that the price might be close to the Realme Book as Intel core i3 comes with starting price of Rs. 44,999 for the 8GB of RAM and 256GB SSD. On the other hand, the i5 chipset of Realme Book is selling for Rs. 56,999 for the 8GB of RAM and 512GB SSD.

Reliance Jio Likely To Launch Laptop Soon; See Here For All Details

After launching JioPhone Next, Reliance Jio might bring new products to the Indian market. Notably, India’s largest telecom operator Reliance Jio is expected to bring its first laptop into the industry. In fact, Reliance JioBook has been listed on the Geekbench database.

The database also reveals key specifications along with hints about the launch of the upcoming laptop. So, let’s take a look at the specifications and Geekbench score of the Reliance Jio laptop.

As per the Geekbench listing image, the laptop manages to score 1,178 points in the single-core test and 4, 256 points in the multi-core test. The product will be powered by the octa-core MediaTek MT8788 chipset that will have 2GB of RAM.

Besides, the laptop will run on Android 11 out of the box. Previously, several reports suggested that the products revealed that the laptop will run JioOS.

Reliance JioBook Laptop Expected Specifications

According to some leaks, the JioBook might feature a 1,366 x 768 pixels display. It will also have an HDMI connector, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and 4G LTE connectivity.

In addition, the laptop is likely to have all Jio apps like JioMeet, JioStore, and JioPages. Besides, there are high chances that the laptop will have Microsoft apps such as
Teams, Edge, and Office.

It is worth noting that Reliance Jio has not shared anything on the same. On the other hand, industry sources informed Giznext that the company has no such plans so far.

But still, the listing on Geekbench seems Reliance Jio might come up with the laptop under the affordable segment.

JioPhone Next Launched In India

This development comes soon after Reliance Jio launched its much-awaited smartphone the JioPhone Next. The smartphone is priced at Rs. 6,499; however, customers are allowed to purchase it with EMI schemes.

Furthermore, you can get the JioPhone Next with a down payment of Rs. 1,999 along with a processing fee of Rs. 501. Additionally, the company has launched plans like Always-on plan, Large, XL, and XXL. All plans are available for 18 and 24-month instalment scheme options.

In addition, the company announced that the laptop will be available in three processors; i3, i5, and i7. It will also have a multi-utility fast Type C charger. Also, the smartphone company said that the upcoming laptop will be aggressively priced. For the unaware, the laptop is priced at PHP 24,990, which is close to Rs. 37,000 in the Philippines.

Apart from launching the laptop, Infinix also announced that it will launch its much-awaited Note 11 series. The upcoming smartphones will be priced between Rs. 10,000 to Rs. 15,000. Also, the devices will have a MediaTek G96 processor, AMOLED FHD+ display, and a limited Free Fire edition.

The Infinix Note 11 series will have two smartphones, i.e. the note 11 and the Note 11 Pro. Additionally, the device is might have a 16MP camera at the front.

Apple has announced the new MacBook Pro at the Unleashed event. The MacBook Pro laptops have been launched in 14-inch and 16-inch screen sizes. Apple has also launched M1 Pro and the M1 Max processors, which the company claims are better than others.

“With massive gains in CPU and GPU performance, up to six times the memory bandwidth, a new media engine with ProRes accelerators, and other advanced technologies, M1 Pro and M1 Max take Apple silicon even further and are unlike anything else in a pro notebook,” Johny Srouji, Apple’s senior vice president of Hardware Technologies.

In addition, the 16-inch variant comes with a 16.2-inch area with 7.7 million pixels. Under the hood, you’ll get a Liquid Retina XDR display along with mini-LED technology. On the connectivity front, the laptops include Bluetooth v5.0, Wi-Fi 6. Users three Pro Display XDRs, and a 4K TV.

The MacBook Pro laptops also include a six-speaker sound system, four force-canceling woofers, and two tweeters. The laptops support spatial audio and Dolby Atmos.
