OnePlus is gearing up to launch the new generation Nord CE lineup. The Nord CE 2 and the Nord CE 2 Lite are confirmed to be heading to the Indian market this month. The former is slated for February 11 launch, while the latter’s availability is uncertain as of now. Ahead of the launch, we have got several clues related to the features and design of both models. The OnePlus Nord CE 2 has now paid a visit to Geekbench. The benchmark scores along with the processor and configurations have been confirmed.
OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite Key Specifications Leaked On Geekbench
The OnePlus Nord CE 2 has been spotted on Geekbench with the IV2201 model number. As per the benchmark website, the Nord CE 2 Lite will come packed with the ARM MT6877V/ZA model number. Just for reference, this octa-core processor by MediaTek is marketed as the Dimensity 900 SoC.
This new processor is powering the current generation of mid-range smartphones across the globe. The OnePlus Nord CE 2’s listing at Geekbench also confirms Android 11 OS. We might see the handset pre-installed with OxygenOS 12 interface. The website also reveals an 8GB RAM configuration.
However, it is not clear if the company will be launching any additional RAM configurations or just the 8GB RAM model. The storage capacity is not mentioned on the benchmark website, but we will atleast see a 128GB storage option. As for the benchmark scores, the Nord CE 2 has achieved 704 points in the single-core test and 2151 points in the multi-core test on Geekbench.
Additionally, the Nord CE 2 has also been spotted on the TUV certification platform. The model number mentioned on this certification platform with the same IV2201 model number. While the Geekbench listing has shared only the aforementioned details, the TUV certification platform additionally hints at the battery capacity.
According to this certification website, the Nord CE 2 will be powered by a dual-cell capacity of 2200mAh-2250mAh battery capacity. This suggests the handset will have a total rated capacity of 4,500 mAh. The handset will also come with 65W fast charging support that will aid with quicker refuels.
