Tipster Yogesh Brar via his official Twitter handle has shared the retail box pricing of the Xiaomi 11T Pro. According to the tipster, the high-end variant which will pack 12GB RAM and 256GB storage will be announced at Rs. 54,999 in the Indian market. The tipster further hints the upcoming premium Xiaomi handset is likely being tagged with a similar price as the recently launched OnePlus 9RT.

Also, with bundled offers in the mix, the Xiaomi 11T Pro’s prices would become lower than that of the OnePlus 9RT. Nevertheless, the former handset is already being rumored to be the prime competitor of the latter. With a lower price tag, it is likely to grab a larger share of the audience.

We are yet to get details on the base model’s pricing. Until the details surface, it would be safe to assume we will see pocket-friendly pricing despite premium range hardware. Nevertheless, the rumors suggest the OnePlus 9RT with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage is said to be launched at around Rs. 43,000. Likewise, the mid-range variant is said to be announced with a price label of Rs. 47,000. We will once again highlight these are the rumored prices and the actual cost post-launch and bundled offers might vary.

As far as the features are concerned, the Xiaomi 11T Pro will be announced with the Snapdragon 888 processor which will be paired up with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB onboard storage capacity. The device will be sporting a quad-lens camera module with a 108MP main sensor, an 8MP ultrawide sensor, and a 5MP telephoto sensor.

The company has now silently added a new member to its predecessor, i.e, the Reno6 series. The newest model added to this premium mid-range lineup is the Reno6 Lite which is essentially a rebranded version of the Oppo F19 which was also announced last year. The device has been introduced in Mexico currently and is yet to arrive in the remaining global markets.

The Oppo Reno6 Lite has been launched with the Snapdragon 662 chipset. The mid-range 4G octa-core processor supports Adreno 610 GPU and up to 6GB LPDDR4x RAM. It is announced with up to 128GB of UFS 2.1 storage. The device also features a dedicated microSD card slot for additional storage requirements.

The Oppo Reno6 Lite’s display measures 6.43-inches which is an AMOLED panel with 1080 x 2400 pixels FHD+ resolution and has an aspect ratio of 20:9. It sports a punch-hole cutout that packs a 16MP camera for selfies and video chats. The main camera setup at the back features a 48MP main lens. The remaining two sensors are a pair of 2MP lenses for macro and depth photography.

As for the additional features, the Reno6 Lite has been announced with Android 11-based ColorOS 11 UI and also an in-display fingerprint scanner for security. The Galaxy S22+ will have Exynos 2022 processor in India, while the US variant will carry Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset. The device might have a 4,500 mAh battery along with 45W fast charging. It has a 6.55-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display and a peak brightness of 1,750 nits.

On the optics front, the device will carry a 50MP primary camera, 12MP ultra-wide camera, and 12MP telephoto camera along with 2x optical zoom. The device might carry a 32MP front camera and will run Android 12 OS out of the box.

According to the previous leak, the device will have a flat-screen, hole-punch cutout, and triple-camera setup. The volume and power keys are likely to be at on the right side. In addition, the leaks suggested that LED flash might be placed outside the camera module.

Tecno via an official tweet has confirmed the upcoming Pop 5 Pro’s launch in India. The teaser poster shared by the company shows the design of the device along with the 8MP dual camera setup. A 6,000 mAh battery has also been tipped by the teaser video. The exact launch date hasn’t been announced just yet, however, the teaser shared reveals it’s coming soon.

It might get announced soon after the Tecno Pova Neo in the country, i.e, January 20. Besides, the camera specifications, none of the features have been tipped by the official teaser poster. However, another leak has tipped the key features of the Tecno Pop 5 Pro. We’ll get back to the features in a while. Let’s speak of the design module shared by the teaser video.

Apple is reportedly planning to remove the physical SIM card slot from the upcoming smartphones. Notably, the company is providing eSIM on the iPhone XR, XS, and XS Max. The update comes after a Brazilian publication blog reported that the iPhone 15 Pro will be launched without a physical SIM card slot and will have only eSIM technology.

The report said that the phone will have dual eSIM support and might have two lines simultaneously. It is worth noting that it is unclear that non-Pro models will have both physical SIM cards and without slots.

Apple plans to remove the physical SIM card slot is not anything new as the smartphone is known for launching devices with unique or different features and specifications. Additionally, it is expected that other smartphone makers will follow the same.
