Following the discontinuation of the Mi lineup, Xiaomi has now started focusing on its current smartphone lineup with the same “Xiaomi” moniker. The company had recently introduced the Xiaomi 11i series in India. Two models namely the Xiaomi 11i 5G and the Xiaomi 11i 5G HyperCharge debuted in the country with the Dimensity 920 octa-core 5G processor and up to 120W fast charging support. Now, the company has officially confirmed another Xiaomi 11 series model launch in India. The next model in offing is the Xiaomi HyperPhone which is just a few days away from the official launch in India.

Xiaomi HyperPhone India Launch Date Officially Announced

The Xiaomi HyperPhone aka the 11T Pro was first announced by the company during the Xiaomi 11i series launch in India last week. However, the Chinese tech giant didn’t reveal the exact launch date as well as features of this handset back then. The company took to its official Twitter handle to announce the upcoming Xiaomi 11T Pro January 19 launch in the Indian market. The teaser poster only shows the handset’s image and confirms the moniker along with the launch date.

Besides the launch date, other details such as the availability (both online and offline), features, and pricing are yet to be teased. Only the display features have been currently updated at the dedicated microsite created by the company on its official website.

The Xiaomi 11T Pro’s dedicated webpage also has the “Notify Me” tab live. You can click on it to stay informed with the latest updates on this new Xiaomi premium 5G phone. Nevertheless, the Xiaomi HyperPhone or the Xiaomi 11T Pro was earlier announced in China (last year). We will possibly see the exact set of features like the Chinese variant in India.

Speaking of which the Xiaomi 11T Pro aka Xiaomi HyperPhone’s biggest highlight would be the 120W fast charging support. This is the same as for the Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge that broke covers this month in India. Apart from this, the Xiaomi 11T Pro will be using the Snapdragon 888 Plus processor under the hood.

It will be launched with an Android 11 OS-based MIUI 12.5 interface and a 6.6-inch AMOLED display with 1080p FHD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The Xiaomi 11T Pro’s camera setup will feature a 108MP main lens at the rear along with an 8MP ultrawide sensor and a 5MP macro lens. It will also offer a 16MP selfie camera and a 5,000 mAh battery with 120W fast charging.

Following the Moto G31 and the Moto G51 5G, Motorola has added the third model, i.e, the Moto G71 5G in India. The device was recently confirmed by the company for the country and its dedicated microsite also went live at an e-commerce platform. The latest Motorola handset has been announced for the budget audience in India with features like the Snapdragon 695 processor and a 50MP triple-rear camera module. The pricing and availability details are mentioned below.

Moto G71 5G Features And Specifications

The Moto G71 5G has arrived in India as the first Android phone powered by the Snapdragon 695 processor. This octa-core chipset is combined with a single 6GB RAM and 128GB storage configuration. The storage expansion support is also present (via external microSD card).

The Moto G71 5G display measures 6.4-inches. It is a Max Vision AMOLED panel that features a punch-hole camera cutout for the selfie camera. The display specifications include an FHD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels, an aspect ratio of 20:9, and a standard 60Hz refresh rate. Speaking of the optics, the in-display camera cutout positioned at the center-top features a 16MP selfie snapper with an f/2.2 aperture.

The Moto G71 5G has a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner for security and 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth connectivity options. The device also offers a 3.5mm headphone jack and a USB Type-C port for charging and data transfers. The handset comes with IP52 certification and is powered by a 5,000 mAh battery. The unit also features 33W fast charging.

The Moto G71 5G comes at an asking price of Rs. 18,999 for the single 6GB RAM and 128GB storage configuration. It will be made available for sale via Flipkart starting January 19. You will be able to select the handset in Arctic Blue and Neptune Green shades.

For an asking price of Rs. 13,990, you get an Helio P35 processor-powered smartphone available with up to 6GB RAM and 128GB storage option. Note, the chipset used is an entry-level octa-core SoC by MediaTek and there are other handsets in the same price range using a more powerful SoC compared to the Oppo A54.

The display offered by the Oppo A54 is also standard (LCD with 720P HD+ resolution). Again, there are devices with a better panel (at least higher screen resolution or refresh rate). The camera specifications are decent and you get a 13MP main lens along with a 2MP macro and a 2MP depth sensor. The battery is only the most powerful aspect you get on this budget handset. It is a big 5,000 mAh unit that supports 18W fast charging.

Following the Moto G31 and the Moto G51 5G, Motorola is ready to bring the third model in this mid-tier series called the Moto G71 5G. The brand will be left with the Moto G41 and the Moto G200 post this. The handset is now officially confirmed by the company to be heading to the Indian stores. The tweet shared by the company confirms the January 10 launch date of its next affordable 5G phone in India. The teaser poster shared on the microblogging website also confirms its availability online via Flipkart.

The handset is likely to be available on the same date (January 10) at the e-commerce portal for sale. We can also expect Motorola to sell this device via offline retail stores in the country. The details should be announced during the official launch on January 11, 2022.

It is worth adding that Flipkart has also taken the Moto G71 5G’s dedicated microsite live. The product page is updated with all the key specs which the upcoming mid-range Motorola 5G smartphone will offer. And since the device is already announced internationally, all the features are known.

While the official teaser poster and Flipkart listing confirm the launch date and features, the pricing isn’t officially announced. However, a Twitter user has suggested a starting price tag of Rs. 18,999. Unfortunately, it is unknown currently which variant the tipster is hinting at.

Realme recently took the wraps off its first Snapdragon 8 Gen 1-backed flagship Android smartphone series called the GT 2. The vanilla Realme GT 2 Pro was accompanied by the GT 2 Pro in China during the official launch event. The latter is apparently coming to the Indian market sometime soon. The Realme GT 2 Pro has just cleared its certification via BIS (Bureau Of Indian Standards). The listing has been spotted by 91Mobiles. The certification website has only listed the GT 2 Pro’s model number, i.e, RMX3301. Apart from this, no other detail has been shared. Also, it is not still clear if both Realme GT 2 Pro and the Realme GT will be announced simultaneously in the country or the former will arrive first in the country.

Nevertheless, the exact Realme GT 2 Pro’s launch timeline would be hard to anticipate just yet. But looking at the developments, specifically with the BIS certification, it can be expected in the coming few months.

Realme GT 2 Pro India Specifications, Features

The Realme GT 2 Pro is a high-end phone which is packed with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor. The handset has been announced in Chine with up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and up to 512GB LPDDR5 RAM. We can expect the same RAM and storage configurations in the country as well. The software would also be the same as the global model, i.e, Android 12 OS topped with Realme UI 3.0 interface.
