Nokia globally unveiled the new Nokia G10, Nokia G20 and the C-series smartphones in April this year. Now, the Nokia G20 has finally made its way to our Indian shores and the smartphone was launched in India earlier this month. In this article, we have shared with you the Pros and Cons of the new Nokia G20.

Nokia G20 Pros and Cons

PROS

Classic Design – The new Nokia G20 has an old-school classic design with modern functionalities & that’s actually a good thing as people still prefer it. It is available in two colour shades. They are Night & Glacier.

Massive Battery – The Nokia G20 smartphone packs a massive 5050mAh non-removable battery and thanks to this large battery capacity, you won’t have to charge your smartphone too frequently.

Good Cameras – The new Nokia G20 sports a quad-camera set-up at the rear. The primary sensor is a 48 MP shooter which is coupled with a 5 MP ultra-wide-angle lens, a 2 MP depth camera and a 2 MP macro sensor. At the front, it gets an 8 MP camera for selfies and videos.

Near-Stock Android Experience – The Nokia G20 runs on Android v11 and it offers a near-stock Android experience as the smartphone doesn’t get any sort of bloatware or third-party applications.

Decent Price – The new Nokia G20 is available in a single variant that gets 4 GB of RAM with 64 GB of internal storage and it is priced at Rs 12,999. The price isn’t too impressive but we can say it’s decent.

CONS

Weak Processor – The Nokia G20 uses a very weak processor and at this price point, it isn’t justifiable at all. It is powered by the MediaTek Helio G35 octa-core chipset.

Average Display Quality – The new Nokia G20 features a 6.5-inch HD+ display with a 20:9 aspect ratio and a U-shaped notch that houses the selfie camera. Nokia should have at least offered an FHD+ display.

Bulky Device – The Nokia G20 is a bulky device and not so slim too. The smartphone weighs 197 grams and has a thickness of 9.2 mm.

Very Slow Charging – The new Nokia G20 has a massive battery but it doesn’t get a fast charger. The smartphone can be charged via a conventional 10W charger only.

Rivals Offer Much Better Value – The Nokia G20 doesn’t justify its price tag and its rivals like the Realme Narzo 30, Xiaomi Redmi Note 10, etc. offer much better value for your money.
